Well given our form and their form a good time to play them. That said we have a few out so gives us time to clear up the injuries.

    Lots of mid weekers incoming.

Could do with the fixture playing next tues/weds as neither City or Barrow have a game,
After that it starts to get busy in March for us

Also a chance for them to find form… this stage postponements are not good at all for us we have momentum.

My brother was down at Rawdon Meadows watching his grandson and said Walker was really getting put though a rigorous work out, so hopefully he should be fit for next saturday against Notts County and Platt just running, no Kelly so was he in todays 18 for the Barrow game ?.

Safe journey home to all Bradford City supporters, absolutely gutting situation which from a match official point of view could have been avoided.
Barrow and their ground staff obviously thought the pitch was playable hence no local referee was brought in to inspect the pitch.
I'm no referee but perhaps today's ref should visit VP and see what a real unplayable surface looks like then he might be a little bit more savvy when making decisions so late in the day.

Can’t see how Kelly could have possibly been involved today after Wednesday.
He could barely walk off the field after being subbed.

Feel really sorry for the fans who travelled up there it happened to me at the same ground many years ago. But as far as the match goes it may be a blessing after a hard match on Wednesday and injury problems. It gives us a clear week to recuperate and get injured players back

    Needs striking off altogether!
It's a 4th division game not some elite game at the upper echelons of the sport.
What a pampered, entitled, pass the buck world we currently live in! Jeez :pensive:

He should be FORCED to watch a full replay of Wed nights game to see how a great game of football could be had on an inclement pitch.

It could be a blessing in disguise is we can have more or less a full squad to select from next Saturday, but not good for you guys who've traveled.

This was pre match on Wednesday.
No grass, just lots of sand for the whole width of the field at the Bradford end.
It then pissed it down for most of the match.
There’s also a clip from the pre match build up where an official throws a ball up and it doesn’t bounce at all.
IMG_6322.jpeg Player safety didn’t seem to be a massive issue for a Sky game.

He definitely travelled with the squad today. Not sure if he would have started, but he wouldn't have travelled if he could not have made the bench at least.

@Allotment Bantam@Allotment Bantam said both Kelly and Richards have traveled to Barrow so unless its just giving their team mates moral support I'd think they might have been in with a shout of a place on the bench, Richards eye injury was getting better but Alexander didn't want to risk him midweek unless I've misunderstood the situation.
