    Even last season in the Championship, their average home attendance was only around 13,000 and those figures were boosted by some very big away attendances from the likes of Sunderland, Villa, Leeds, Hull and the Sheffield clubs. I'd be very surprised if they brought half your number to VP.

    The max allocation for for league games is around 2,700, but they won't sell out anyway. Probably 2,000 at a push.

    That feels like a lot of money for an inexperienced 18 year old! Barnsley must see a lot of potential in him. And apparently he's staying on loan at Bury until the next transfer window.

    Watching the Shrewsbury game, although we looked good going forward, I think they were unlucky not to score atleast three goals against us. If we give Barnsley those chances, I can see it being a very tough afternoon for us.

    Probably be like a repeat of the 2005 FA Cup replay. Bradford 3 - Barnsley 5. But with (Doyle, O'Connor and Payne on the score sheet).

    OK ......... But factor in Barnsley were also 'lucky' to have been playing a poor Oxford side on Saturday.
    And City too could have scored a couple more ?

    Opening games count for so little in terms of 'form', and although performances may be encouraging, they're a long way off from defining.
    All about opinions, I know ;) - But I'm sticking with my 3 - 3 prediction. :)

    2 of the goals Barnsley scored were speculative shots which the keeper should have saved. The big advantage Barnsley have is the majority of the squad have played together for some time where as ours are still getting to know one another

    Moore’s display for Rotherham against us last season was excellent. However they are the only side he has ever been prolific for. He has scored 4 in 20 for Barnsley albeit in the championship
