    I don’t blame him, expect more if this continues. Not just the fans who are protesting. I wonder who will be frantically ringing round to get another sponsor to stand in!!

    The Embarrassing thing is, I normally take around 25 people (Big match sponsorship is only for a table of 12). I have had no corespondence from the club regarding Menus, people, itinerary for the day - Nothing.
    Communication is embarrassing to say the least. It’s next Saturday FFS!!!!

    Just book yourself into a restaurant with your guests for about 15:00 then get the owners to take a photo and send it to the clubs twitter page with the heading Look at what you could have had.

    I had similar experience trying to arrange a one course meal in Legends suite for my youngest's birthday in August - Wycombe game. I must have emailed 3 or 4 times from 3 weeks prior, asking for menu as obviously didn't want to go if our party didn't fancy the menu. Got confirmation of menu during the week before. I Emailed details confirming ok and sent birthday details and photo but nobody came back to me until the day before so was too late to include his birthday in the programme!!

    Yes I know but we cant do anything about that.. but again it was decided best to put that so if any extra funds came in they was put to good use..

    I think just giving runs for a month or so before can be canceled or something like that

    Yeah, I've brought the date as far forward as possible.

    It seems like it has to run for a minimum of 14 days - most likely to maximise the number of donations, since JustGiving takes a cut from every one.

    I don't remember the exact date it closes, but it wasn't possible to bring any further forward than that. Considering it took 4 days to hit the target, it just means it will linger around :)
