    No need to get shirty. I have already backed you and the plan. But you can’t stop people being confused as to why the price escalated in just a few weeks.

    We had a quote and fans were receptive to it. But then suddenly there is a need to increase. Of course those contributors are going to ask questions. Isn’t that what we are doing with Rahic???

    We are doing just fine, Jon, it is perfectly reasonable to do this sooner rather than later due to cost of fuel, it is unstable at the moment. The people who have contributed will understand, plus Portsmouth is our next big match so makes sense.

    It is explained on the justgiving site. It cannot be helped the business that is providing this service have upped their quote, what is there not to understand? The original quote was weeks ago, I remember it.

    Since making my donation, I had no reason to go back and re-read the JustGiving page.

    But all irrelevant anyway. The quote of £600 (+VAT) has been increased by the company to £700 (+VAT), an increase of 16.7%. Now fuel prices may have gone up in the last few weeks, but by 16.7%? I understand the reason we have been given by Jon, but I’m not entirely sure the company are being honest with him/Nick.

    If you want to do what we're doing with Rahic, wait for the flyover to fail to materialise, the words to be spelled wrong, the letters to be numbers, followed by a defence of the whole affair by blaming the people that contributed for not making the banner attractive enough (and a subtle dig at the weather).

    That would be more like what we're doing with Rahic ;)

    On a more serious note, you are more than welcome to speak to Air Ads and find out the exact reasons for the increase in the cost - I can't speak for @Nick_W_@Nick_W_ , but when I heard the cost had increased, I didn't really feel the need to investigate more closely or interrogate anyone. But if you want to, you're more than welcome to listen to some excuse or other about petrol or the time of year or whatever else factors into it. I don't really care. The point is the banner, and the message. Nobody is paying us to find out, or even do this, and I resent the implication that we could pocket the money (@brisbanebantams@brisbanebantams).

    And like @king karl@king karl says, we each have a small amount of money invested. We don't need to act like CEO's protecting company bottom lines :)

    Hang on fella, this particular “Roy Cropper” has paid his £10. But as the target hasn’t yet been met and the price has already been hiked once, is that £10 likely to need an uplift to say £20?

    People picking the bones out of everything? Isn’t that the whole fecking point - seen as we want to pick the bones out of every accusation towards Rahic and his ‘dealings’?

    if you went to a contractor for repairs to your house roof and 2 weeks later they said the price had increased by 20% wouldn't you want to know why?

    Can @Ronnie Brown contact Pompey fans to see if they will join in? On another thread he was posting about going on other teams forums....just to maximise stuff.

    Abbomf maybe you could flypost all the way up North Parade, Manningham Lane and Midland Rd advising people and asking them to join in?

    By the way, I've emailed Clear Channel who run the billboard on Manningham Lane by Tesco Express asking for prices.

    FFS THE PRICE OF OETROL HAS GONE UP, HOW MANY MORE TIMES!!

    shall I put it in bold flashing red or what!

    It cost me an extra £5 to fill my car up, so imagine another £100 to fill a plane is about right.
