I'll try keep giving updates at different times of the day and even when we get to the total it doesn't mean we have to stop donating every bit of extra money can go towards anymore ideas we have .

please don’t feel bad, as I keep saying ppl need to do what they feel comfortable doing. This is about us as a fan group saying to the owners we are not happy about the way our club is being run, and we are prepared to spend our money telling you publicly that we want you to leave. Who knows whether it will achieve what we want, I can’t guarantee that it will have the desired effect. However, it is about building our protests. We cannot just sit back and let them do what they want with our club without using our power. In other words we are serving notice, and more protests to come.

 

We are doing just fine, Jon, it is perfectly reasonable to do this sooner rather than later due to cost of fuel, it is unstable at the moment. The people who have contributed will understand, plus Portsmouth is our next big match so makes sense.

As Winner would say - Calm down everybody.... Quotes go up and down, especially over time, and especially when the company think they can make an extra buck. Moral of the story is, get the quote locked in and in writing with an agreed date when the offer expires.
i'm sure Jon is trying to be completely transparent with this project, and I'm certain he'll be posting some screenshots of receipts and contracts etc once the day is arriving.

You are right the flyover is not the story, but the start of a campaign featuring everything you have mentioned. It is no mistake, how can it be, anything that gets publicity for our aim to highlight our plight and to gain momentum.

I think it is a mistake to isolate our campaign to marches and withholding finance from the club. We need to build a broad base of protests that covers all supporters. Not everyone wants to march, or stop going to the ground, that is just human nature.

I don’t want to criticise any form of protest, as it detracts from the focus, and we have to keep focused.

Lord Haw Haw can't, he's banging the drum for Edin & Rupp at every chance he gets.
I was of the undestand he would donate if we got it up and running, well @brisbanebantams its up and running and will hopefully hit the required amount over the weekend.

 

To say some thought we would struggle to raise the amount required I think it's an excellent response so far and hopefully come Monday we are booking the plane.

 

Rupp has just put out a statement on the club’s website and T&A.

 

@JonButterfield this one wants assurances that we will be 100% successful in our campaign to oust the owners, and then ask the company to give him an individual breakdown of the invoice, including labour costs, plus the last years service and maintenance of the plane, fuel cost over the last year the personnel involved, breakdown of their salaries tax and NH contributions, how much profit they have made over the last three years, think he will be happy with this shortened version, print it off for him, plus a copy of the receipt, just to make sure, we can’t have any doubt can, oh and don’t forget to send him it via registered post. Or failing that I will put an extra tenner in.

 

Irrespective of the background notions around bans, price increase and politics, well done to all whom have contributed and those in the background whom have worked hard in @JonButterfield and @Nick_W_ . Nearly there and being so close to achieving a goal in such a small period is unexpected, on my part.

This is imo a tiny journey in aiming for change. They'll be potentially much harder journies moving forward.
