yes. from my understanding of what simon jordan was saying and linking it to this situation rupp or whoever owns 80% could force the sale of the final 20%. as they are partners, rupp can not just sack rahic as some people are alluding too, he would need to buy him out - which seems unlikely.

therefore, if someone(s) can attain 80% ownership then they could do the same, as in force a sale. plus, who is going to want to buy rahic's 20% if it means not having control of the club? i can't imagine many businessmen going for that. that's why rupp is the key to all of this and why you need to keep him on your side.

you're more likely to get rupp to sell his 80% than you are rahic to sell his 20%, or indeed have rahic agree to the 100% sale of the club.

Well you have to ask if Stefan has invested 80% of the money and his hands are tied that given a down turn in the clubs fortunes he doesn't have the voting rights to pull the plug on the 20% share holder I wonder why he has not got a water tight agreement to save his investment.

 

So if Mark had held out and not sold the deal would possibly not have happened because the new owners didn't want any other investor onboard or weren't prepared to take the risk of buying Mark out in the foreseeable future.

Is this the fine off the EFL fine for the Sunderland game? If so it would be strange for the EFL to fine the club as conduct issues are handled by the FA, plus the charge was never announced by the FA as usually happens, neither was the result of the hearing.
