No, i've said earlier its a game neither side deserved to win as they didn't create enough to warrant it. that said its a better point for us and despite what Swindon fans think, they should be worried about just how much influence Doyle has on their season, i expect its more than they think and how much it will affect them if he goes.

Please remind us all just how you scored, and how many other times our keeper was called upon to make a save, for the league leaders at home you were average at best, funny thing is if the boot was on the other foot and Bowyer was complaining about the opposition he would have been slaughtered because he could not change his formation to cope with other teams parking the bus.
We get teams coming to Valley Parade and park the bus, but we Bradford City fans realise coming to Valley Parade is their Wembley day out so its expected .

 

I actually don't mind the giving L2 teams respect mantra, we got our fingers burnt far too many times last time we were down here, crucially in the 08/09 nearly season (that 3-3 with Barnet still annoys me to this day!!)

However, the players need to transcend from defence to attack better. This will help when Donaldson is back, but we can't be relying on just him given his age

Broncs, Lee Power wasn't even there today and neither was Paul Jewell. If as forecast this morning Rovrum recallYeates Swindon are screwed. We had 60% possesion second half, they were no threat. We've taken 4 points off a very average team who aside from us have still some big games coming. Good luck with that.

At the game we had at our place, I thought you looked poor. Today, for 30 mins you were on top, though our keeper didn't have much to do. Then it was even in a scrappy, average way. Fair do's, I expect you're better most weeks.

This is a shit league. That we're both in contention for auto promotion just emphasises that view.

 

I don’t think we’re special. I want to be in league 1 at a minimum but we have the best home record in the football league and I don’t even want to go to games.

Football is about results but it’s also about entertainment.

I agree that Reeves and Palmer together, is actually the problem. I think he plays them as they are more defensively solid than Cooke. But if we had a decent RB (or anyone but the lightweight / fey Henley - hate been negative about players, but he is all round rubbish) then we'd be naturally more attacking. Hoping that Mellor has a decent second half of the season, that he's apparently famed for

But I'd get rid of Palmer and either use that money to keep Doyle or better still get another forward in

Reeves, Devitt, Prichard, Ismail, Connolly and Cooke - we should be able to perm any four of them and create enough to win half our remaining matches

All the front four, at various times have shown they have enough quality for L2, even if it's a bit naive sometimes from Oteh

Apologies. I think fans forget just how horrible L2 is. Forest Green and Northampton who were simply horrible teams are firmly in the promotion mix. Hence, I'll put up with lots more turgid one-nillers if it means we're not here next season!!

They're not poor for L2 standard. I'd wager anything that both of us would have won today, even playing like that, against at least half of this division

The standard is terrible. How your neighbours Forest Green have not only managed a promotion push this season, but did the same last season with their play is beyond belief. But then again it was the same for the six years we were down here that bookended 2010

As for Northampton (who I see were recently stuffed at Crawley, yet somehow manage to be in the promotion picture) and Newport don't get me started

This why I support Bowyer's pragmatism. As you know even L1, rarely gets you promoted by playing quality passing football as we ourselves know too painly from 16/17
