Not disputing that. They could still have held back with announcing it was off until later though and I am giving credit where it's due for getting it out there early.

The club officials need to be pressing to get this game played asap as it would be there for the taking. Players on strike, so first team is made up of emergency loans and youth players. Not only good for the 3 points, but also a chance to dramatically improve the goal difference tally

 

I'd have thought their results would be wiped I'm sure someone will know what happens if a club go out of the league part way through a season, but as yourself lets hope we don't see another old club 1874 going out of the football league.

 

I think the writing is already on the wall there. They can’t just go from week to week not paying wages. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? They are just putting out fires.

 

Personally I am glad it is on a Saturday as it suits my circumstances, there'll be no rushing around and trying not to get stuck in traffic. However, I have full sympathy for those who have had to organise train tickets/coaches etc

That's really good, pleased for you. However City are not being consistent. My refund for the first set of Macclesfield tickets did not include the web fee (ludicrous in my view anyway, how is it more expensive than having someone on the ticket counter) or the postage. I have now paid out a second lot for the replacement tickets for Saturday. It is only £6 but annoying.

 

They've only lost once at home this season, so it's not a given we will win. It's one we are capable of winning but not quite in the must win or else category. You need to look a little longer term ,the next 7 games are winnable so we need to look for 14 points from the next 7 games that will take us to 44 points from 24 games.

 

A few reasons.

Main reason is Bowyer's negative boring approach in style of play for this deadful league and when it's going wrong him seems to lack any conviction that he knows what he's doing.

We've games in hand not points on the board. As much as we are 2 wins from going top we are 2 defeats from being midtable.

Losing to Plymouth just lets them be closer to us.

Now I am not saying we should be 10 points clear at the top but Bradford City are becoming painful to watch. I feel for Vaughan because he's been wasted at this moment.

 

We can sign as many strikers in January as you want
But unless we play to their strengths it wont make any difference
Vaughan would have scored at least double this year
Even the return of the Mercurial Doyle wont have any effect
unless we do
both the above need the service facing goal and a striking partner
