Looks like there are a few in agreement with you because all the seating was sold out before the postponement.

What a farce !!! Why didn’t the clubs just wait until after last nights match before rearranging the game in the first place ?

I know people who have booked a hotel next Tuesday and can’t get a refund !!!

Macclesfield Town will have been keen to move this match, to try and raise extra money from City fans able to travel on the Saturday, especially with a growing boycott by their own fans.

From City's point of view it makes sense for a few reasons, such as avoiding the Colchester away match being slotted into that date (w can probably do without that trip pre-Christmas, if possible). Also, Macclesfield fans are suggesting that the there
Probably due to EFL regulation 28, regarding the rearrangement of postponed matches. Under those regulations we had to agree a new date and notify the EFL before the FA Cup 1st round matches.

However, I don't see anything in the EFL regulations that would have stopped us from announcing our intention to seek to move the fixture again, if we lost our FA Cup match.

Another minor frustration, if people like myself bought a few tickets online, you incur the web sales & postage fee of £3. This isn't refundable

Just to reassure some members I had 2 Tickets for the Colchester game refunded in full with my online fee and postage from Bradford city, I was also fortunate to get my £6 parking fee from Colchester back, the hardest part was trying to get the £114 hotel money back because it was a none flexible arrangement for the 2 rooms that I booked in Colchester, I decided to voice my opinion with the hierarchy at Colchester at my dissatisfaction as to how this game was handled from a supporters point of view, and to my surprise Colchester contacted the hotel and within 48hrs I had the £114 back in my account, so credit to Colchester for that.

That's really good, pleased for you. However City are not being consistent. My refund for the first set of Macclesfield tickets did not include the web fee (ludicrous in my view anyway, how is it more expensive than having someone on the ticket counter) or the postage. I have now paid out a second lot for the replacement tickets for Saturday. It is only £6 but annoying.

One thing you can say about City over the years is their inconsistent service. Sometimes they go that extra mile and someone is really happy but when it isn’t consistent others get rightly upset.

I could imagine Alan Partridge saying that. Sometimes going out of your way means bending the 'rules'. Unless i should report them for bad business practice?

I think you should go back to them and tell them it is not acceptable, it took me a wile to get all of my monies back from the Colchester game particularly when the hotel group I booked with refused point blank to any refund but once they know you won’t go away it is easier for them to just refund you.

Not going to be an ‘easy’ game this one. Has the look of a draw all over it.

The table below is the last four home games. Macclesfield are draw experts. Couple that to our lack of ability to score, then l do not see it as a high scoring game, perhaps a ground out 0-0!

This is a must win game because every sign points a rot setting in. Not that we have been anything more than average or less this far ? But a draw or worse and the wheels are off no doubt. Bowyer sounded completely bereft of ideas and blaming the players. His decisions have taken the squad where it is. If this carrys on over Christmas and we slip back to mid table I think Rupp & Rhodes have to make changes.

GB seems a nice guy, He just needs bigger balls and a positive attitude that we can win any game we play and convince the players, Confidence is huge thing in football,

They've only lost once at home this season, so it's not a given we will win. It's one we are capable of winning but not quite in the must win or else category. You need to look a little longer term ,the next 7 games are winnable so we need to look for 14 points from the next 7 games that will take us to 44 points from 24 games.

I'm looking at the fact we lost yesterday and they're in 13th.

Understand they might have a decent home record but we need to win because 2 defeats going into the home match week after puts massive pressure on the team and Bowyer.

We need to start a winning run now. Making far far too much work of this awful League.

Yep. Got refund as couldn't make Tuesday only to find out rearranged again to Saturday!! Got tickets again for Saturday.

It's also the supporters clubs trying to organise coaches for the games as well.

It is probably worth mentioning that I understand that Macclesfield Town's staff and players are due to be paid on Friday 29 November, the day before the rearranged date.

I am sure that everyone associated with Macclesfield Town will want the match to go ahead; however, it is probably prudent to mention that the players went on strike at very short notice ahead of the Kingstonian match and also that a lack of ground staff could be an issue.

So, whilst I'm not expecting the match to be cancelled/postponed, it is probably advisable to keep an eye on matters at Macclesfield.

It is probably also worth mentioning that Macclesfield Town are back in court on Wednesday 4 December over a £180,000 (and probably growing) debt to HM Customs & Excise. With that, plus the likelihood that the wages remain unpaid, you have to fear for the Club's future.
