Here the views seem to be pretty balanced, but have you read some of the pap on Facebook lately?

Seems some have decided that any result other than a win is a poor result now that we've found some form; already I'm seeing the 1 up top thing coming under attack, which is just bizarre. When we go forward, we've four players committing to our attacking phases, but since only one of them is a 'striker', it seemed to get criticism.

I'd like us to beat Walsall, obviously, but there's not much in their recent 1-0 defeat or indeed in our recent 1-0 victory - it's not going to take a seismic shift in fortunes for us to POSSIBLY not win this one.

I'm glad most people on this forum can see beyond a dozen or so games without legitimately expecting perfection.

 

With Zero fans I don’t think tactics differ that much home or away

 

I heard on sky t'other day that there has been more away wins than home wins. So I did a quick look. To date... Home wins 93, away wins 98...

Took it one step onwards. Looked at league 2 this season vs league Two completed season 2018/19.

2018/19 season home wins 244 (44.21%), draws 148 (26.81%), away wins 160 (28.98%)

2020/21 to date. Home win 138 (39.65%), draws 94 (27.01%), away wins 116 (33.33%).
Projected H-D-A based on data to date. Home win 219, draws 149 away wins 184

Of course. Not the same as PL in terms of away wins but a shift of around c15% more away wins in L2 (approx 24) this season, than the last completed league 2 season.

 

I wouldn't say leveller as such but has certainly narrowed the potential advantage the home team has.

 

Looking forward to seeing Crankshaw and Vernam supplying Cook.

Good half. Solid, bossed possession 3 or 4 chances against none for them, 1-0 up. A second would do nicely and should allow us to see things out.

 

Mine froze along with a lot of others it seems. Only saw it inside the net then the replay.

 

Both O'Connor and Watt now trying to play worldies to get someone in on goal. Need more patience. They're pushing people forward now. Just be patient.

Job done, need to be far more composed in the last 15 minutes of games if we are to be serious contenders. That said it is another win and I still can’t believe we are where we are, so I won’t go bagging individuals out for errors who in the main have been contributors to the turn around.

 

I'm not quite convinced on Rowe yet. Not so much his style but more that he is wasteful with the ball

 

Aye, we could overtake Cambridge. Bit simplistic though, isn't it? Not sure about 2nd and 3rd who we've less games in hand on!
