14 games to go with only a 6 point gap is nothing and more than achievable. The way we go about closing games leaves a lot to be desired, but it could be the motivation our players need to go on a decent run, just like the 4-1 loss to exeter back in 12-13. If I remember correctly, we we’re 7 points off the play offs then with only 7 to go? Puts things into perspective doesn’t it?

 

It is but you will find those that change line ups and have a better squad all do better.

Watt playing far too many games in a row because no one else can replace him.

No it was the post match debate, I have to be honest I didn't take a lot of notice of either of the teams taking water but he obviously thought it was something we should be doing more of.

Tbh... from that angle it looks like a total fresh air shot from the Newport player with no contact from the City man.

 

iI is a complete fresh air shot , how has the ref awarded a freekick for that, the hand ball also came after the 4 minute point of extra time added, the long throw should not have been taken in my opinion. The ball also just appears to drop onto his arm, how are you meant to jump with your arms tied to your side ?

 

That makes it definite the ref made a mistake it wasn’t a free kick

 

Agree I think Trevor was right to pre warn us before the game of this ref whose performance was questionable when we played Forest Green.

 

Interesting footage from last night match strongly suggests we were beaten by an inept referee and linesman who were mentioned by the home commentary team on more than one occasion last night referencing the fact they couldn't keep up with play.

 

Last time I saw him he tried yo persuade me it was his 70th birthday

 

I used to see him regularly shambling down Otley Rd....even going back then he looked about 70...

Yes it does, however how do we know he wasn’t clipped from behind when the leg was pulled back to attempt the shot.

Not defending the ref, thought he was a homer , that’s why they were cheeping in his ear ALL the game, but that is entirely possible .
