Robinson has scored alot of goals throughout his career. Maybe not with a fantastic per game record but he clearly knows where the goal is. It must be bloody hard to make any kind of impact when you have seven or eight minutes here and there on the pitch. Feel for the bloke, in terms of the slagging he got on here from the second he walked into the club. Why do people do this on here? 'Hello there new player! Why did we sign you? Never seen you play before but your stats are average. So clearly you're rubbish'. Players read these forums and they don't have rhino hides. Give the guy a break and give him a chance to show he can do something for us.

 

he had 45 minutes on the weekend and didn't show much there either. its up to him to prove people wrong or he's welcome to get a normal job with the rest of us

 

I agree with what you say. However when you have Sparks saying promotion is the target, and everyone can see the squad lacks goals, the signing of a 32 year old with 120 goals in 500+ appearances and who was supposedly pushed out to make way for Guthrie, well it hardly gives you confidence does it? Sparks has to take some of the flack for being so upbeat for season ticket and sponsorship sales whilst overseeing yet another shit show of a transfer window.

It’s up to Theo to prove every single one of us wrong now. I hope he does. I don’t think he will but it’s up to him.

 

Nothing wrong with hoping a player will be good for the club and nothing wrong with wanting a player to get a chance but we can only go by what we know and he isn’t better than Cook.

Cook isn’t that great either. The problem is we lacked quality signings in the summer.

Robinson is trying his best but sometimes your best just isn’t good enough.

I do feel though Adams needs to go two up top for a bit now.
