Seems to have been let down by a catalogue of lies and false promises. Sound familiar ?

 

He was fed up last season with the state of the pitch and other things he saw as unhelpful. Club owned by Supporters Trust as I know. The Rugby Club own the ground so dictate a lot, also this season they lost the training ground to rugby and have been alternating between equivalent of minor clubs, poor quality. Flynn’s done a great job, his star is bright and but for the international break and another Cardiff defeat I suspect he may have the nod for Mick McCarthy’s job but I don’t know for sure.

 

Thats interesting thanks Roger . Yes I knew it was a Rugby tenancy so to speak. It just throws up the stark contrast of sitting tenant/ owners priorities compared to the one having to taking a back seat share of the ground and associated facilities., especially after the VP rent debate that’s been festering on here all week. Some of it honestly laughable. Cheers.

Am I right in saying that Newport and our good selves are the only football clubs to have Parade in the name of their grounds?

 

My second away game this season hopefully won’t be disappointed, Mansfield was the first and it turned out to be a good game to watch particularly after Vernham put the winner in, in front of City supporters, my prediction 2-1 to City, having said that I have known to be wrong on lots of occasions hopefully I have this one right.

 

It was Cook who got the winner mate, it couldn't have been a better finish for him to celebrate in front of the Mansfield crowd who were giving him stick.

 

Yes you’re correct my mistake must be an age thing, maybe Vernham will get the winner on Sat.
