Or as we're all hoping Angol returns and we return to the sort of football we played with those two as our attacking options, as yourself I'm hoping come January Addams will be adding more quality.

You don't need support to put a header in from 3 yards, or the tap in where he looked like a defender today.

Let me correct myself. He is tragically bad this season, other than that hat rick.

Mate - I am commenting on the fact that in the past several games he has had numerous chances that my dead nan would have stuck at least one away by not moving and letting the ball hit her skeletal foot.

I hope and pray he comes good soon and that he is simply off form. Would love to eat some words, but I fear he is not our goal scoring saviour.

Then get team mates to put it on a plate. That's what he's there for - to score goals. And to be fair Rogered, in terms of offering very little, Cook has done alot of really good defensive work for us during the season so far.

Fordy, I can't work out whether you're more shameless than outrageous. Here's a question for you. Stick with Adams for another two years? What do you think of him?

He's had it on a plate with teammates cutting it up for him and handing him the cutlery - yet he still lets it drop on the floor.

Hopefully the waiters will give him better silver service, so that he brings more to the table.

That's not the player I see. Opinions differ I guess although that's not to say I'm right.

There is little difference in strikers in this division as we saw today, hopefully Angol will be back sooner than later because he does make Cook a different player.
I believe these stats are correct whilst at our club, last season he scored 8 from 21 appearances 5 from the bench, and this season he's scored 5 from 11 appearances, his 5 this season make him 3rd joint scorer, with the top scorer being Luke Armstrong on 7 playing for a team that is performing far better than Bradford City at the moment.

Adam is the man this CLUB needs right now. Too many dancers at the club. Adams won’t dance about and tell the board what is required to kick us on.

However, football is management is about results and this season he has to take us up. Has too! Sparks said this season is about promotion and anything less is failure.

If we are failing it will turn nasty and I can’t see Adams being here for 2 years.

I agree with your sentiment Fordy but we simply don't have the squad capable yet. Unless we are willing to spend in January I think we struggle to hit the playoffs.

I said this at pre season mate and many laughed.

We lack quality. We need to spend big in Jan for sure because currently this squad isn’t good enough no matter how many times @Bronco@Bronco looks at the league table currently to kid himself.

True but as width of the post pointed out, it is a squad game and we can't expect to play our best 11 for 46 games.

I predict that's where we'll be all season - position 7-11, always just needing a win to get into the play offs or just needing a win to push further up the play off places because we lack consistency. We're clearly not going to score lots of goals and will always concede some sloppy ones. There will be lots of draws or one goal margins and we'll always be on that crest of a hope saying "if we win the next one then we'll forget the one we just drew or lost" but I don't think we'll ever be really secure enough in a high enough position.

I've posted my thoughts and I do believe when the likes of Angol, Canavan, hopefully Eisa (as we've seen little of him) return we'll start to pick up points, there is still plenty of football to play and points to win, that's what its all about opinions.
