What do you expect from Width of a post? They are all in the clubs back pocket. If it is Sparks tomorrow as CEO watch all them tweeting how it’s a great move by the club etc. It’s sickening

I don't think he's shite, I think he's a standard L2 striker, not quite as good as Vaughan, but in the same sort of mould. Not massively strong, not enormously fast, but has decent movement and was the one who was actually finding chances the likes of Donaldo, Samuels, DMH and Clarke just aren't finding.

All round average, ten goal a season striker.

You have to admit that's MILES better than what we've got now.

He might be better than what we've got but that bar is on the floor.

I personally think he's garbage. Multiple lazy performances before he got injured, no pace, reluctant to jump for aerial duals and can't hold the ball up. I think a couple of goals whilst we couldn't score in a brothel has elevated his status to being better than he is.

He'd be a fine third choice striker in most any side in the division.

He'd also be adequate back up to Hanson and Wells back in't day, when you consider back up in L2 promotion season was over-the-hill (but not quite Clayton Donaldson over-the-hill) Andy Gray. Although we did have Alan Connell as well, and he could score a mean penalty.

Rupp, Rhodes, Sparks, McCall, Black and our so called professional footballers - you are an embarrassment to the club, the fans and most of all to yourselves!!
There, I feel a little better now - but not a lot : unamused:

Pretty much nailed the problem there. Our 'best striker is really only good enough to be backup in this division. Says it all really.

Back up for a good side, adequate starter for a non-threatening midtable team, IMHO.

It can’t be Sparks tomorrow. We are wanting a new CEO. It needs someone to understand the football management skills of looking after the whole club in ALL departments who has massive experience to take a club like ours forward quickly and professionally without having to ask for help. We need someone who has been in this industry for many many years and can make decisive decisions if he’s allowed that is so we can move forward quickly. Yes he will be expensive Would think between 150 and 200 k plus a bit of share holding.

interviewer missed asking about Clarkes reaction when he was subbed off. Not a happy chap. McCall certainly doesn't want to lose the dressing room - not that it would make performances any worse mind.

    Peter Taylor years Deja vu.

I always knew Stuart would return but its telling that we were desperate when City approached him. We were in that desperation mode, trying to tick boxes on recruitment and preparation for a season. Nothings been fixed and things have probably got worse. Stuart cant build a team. An "arm around the shoulder" manger isn't going to cut it for us in our current position.

The team share their part aswell but it's clear to anyone how many players are not good enough in the first 11 and the bench, not just for Bradford but league two football at its most basic.

Problems lie higher up for sure, i'd like to see a change there soon.
