We had every chance of getting into the play offs and this half assed lot couldn’t give a stuff.

What a shambles of a club we are at present

 

This team is a mid table mediocrity side. We are where we deserve to be.

 

No he wont be and will know these past 2 games are a massive opportunity missed - but have to repeat we have a mid table team at best. There was always going to be a LOT of work to do this summer (whichever division we are in) but lets be realistic, if we did go up we would be looking at a total change to be able to compete so perhaps its a blessing in disguise. We have to put together a squad that can go for automatic promotion next season and with some style as hopefully the fans will be back in the stadium and they wont put up with the way we have been playing.
Daft thing is we are still in with a chance of the play offs, which in many ways is disguising the poor performances we are putting in - just hope Turnbull is working hard behind the scenes (hear he is) as we HAVE to get it right before we go again next season

 

No they havent Fordy - in fairness to Ryan I think it was totally right to offer T&S what were effectively 16 month contracts based on the incredible turn round of results they fashioned when he made this decision and whilst I dont have any figures I understand they are not amounts that would cripple the club

 

Along with the playing department, I hope there's a clear out of the fitness and medical department too.

 

That would do for me right now, getting us out of this league. Parky improved our league position each season I think I am correct in saying, he was a good fit for our football club and still would be.

 

It’d be nice to go for quality over quantity something we haven’t done since Parkinson was in charge, although we need to improve our fitness and conditioning department as well.

 

At this point I am more than happy to just blanket release anyone signed by Edin. They might be good players but we're probably in double figures of the amount of false dawns we've had with them all, where they seemed to have turned it around, only to inevitably revert to type and look like shit again pretty much the next game usually. How long do we persist with players who formed part of the absolute worst city side I have seen in living memory (L1 relegation side).

Agree. You show the winger down the line. I don't understand what backing off and allowing the attacker on his favourite foot is going to achieve barring him shooting.

Also watch Sutton doing an assault on one of their players and Evans just jogging back thinking about how he sucked Bradford City into boosting his retirement fund. Our midfield is a joke!

 

Three crap performances in a row when we had a lot to fight for sums up this half of the season.

No leadership present in the team. No GK should be captain unless they have an immense personality and influence in the dressing room and can translate that onto the pitch. How many times has the armband been passed around?

A lot needs looking at but midfield first please.

 

I got the impression from Truemans after match interview that he had no intention of playing Rowe yesterday,and that Rowe had probably either been told that,or worked it out for himself.Just watch,Rowe will leave at the end of the season,and score a shedfull for a team who know how to use him.

 

Unless they play for us.

 

Noon kick off on Saturday would be my preference.
