Robinson has given the ball away appallingly 3 times now when he had chance to take the sting out of the game, need someone new urgently.

 

Honestly, how the chuff are we in front here? Second half especially we've been appalling.

Adams is a lucky lucky man
Hopefully only buys him another game or two
His tactics are appalling we were holding on after nearly throwing away a 2 goal lead against Barrow reserves

 

3 much needed points but that was far from an enjoyable watch.

We hopefully have a good window and just push on because you just look at the top of the league and just see how poor it is ........... FGR got away with a point at VP and Sutton looked poor even up against 10 players ......... think that’s the thing that’s more frustrating that we can all see how weak this league is but we ain’t got a team to do anything about it

 

I suppose if your happy with our full squad being very lucky to hang on against Barrow reserves and a refereeing error
Then it was a great win on another day against a different team we would have been swamped

Lack of training coming back from a draining illness.

 

I complemented him coming for crosses etc first half but from my armchair it looked a good goal, I heard Adams is not happy with either keeper and would be looking to bring someone in, lets hope he does neither inspire.

 

Exactly there have been 4 or 5 games this season where we have had enough chances to bury the games and either come away with nothing or 1Point so when circumstances are against us this is a good win

 

Nonsense again Park we have done that for the last dozen or so matches thats why we have dropped so many points
Sitting back and getting every man behind the ball once in front is an Adams tactic and may well cost us promotion
Regardless of covid infections or Cooks injury

 

Maybe it will.
But our form when Angol and Cook have started together has been promotion form.

When we’ve relied on Robinson and/or Lavary it’s been relegation form. A bit simplistic maybe but it says to me improving the quality of the starting 11 and thus the bench would in fact make a difference regardless of your opinion on tactics.

 

That's what Adams does. He's done it regularly this season - drop deep and hang on to a one goal lead or even a draw.

He's too risk averse to run away with a league or go on a long run of wins because there will inevitably be draws and losses with that approach over time

 

An energy depleted display in the second half is understandable. However, we've seen a similar pattern all season.

Bottom line, we've seen more than enough this season to know we need at least 3 or 4 quality additions to put this team in the promotion mix.

 

Give me time, i'm only warming up, and yes covid is just a bad cold in most cases...
