Away Ticket Fiasco vs Carlisle

Can imagine they’ll be collection only if they start selling them Monday

To be honest by the end of today the majority of sales for home tickets will have been made. I can understand they didn't want to jam the website up selling home and away tickets at the same time, and doing it in bands does reduce the number of people on the website but it wouldn't surprise me if they start making sales tomorrow. If there were enough tickets to go round for those in the loyalty point bands I see no reason why they just didn't condense sales into 2 windows, Loyalty Points then Season ticket, rather than 2 x loyalty points if there is enough tickets to guarantee them anyhow.

 

No, we appear to have given 10% not realising it's 10% up to 2,000 tickets, as all the monies from the games are pooled and split.

Anyhow that being done it does look like sales behind the goal are strong, so it will be nice to see City fans behind both goals, and the Carlisle fans being close to the Kop appears to have helped sell out the lower tier in the corner.

Carlisle suggests they were sent Tuesday, probably same day. I guess they were in the ticket office when that response by the help twitter was given.

My guess is they wanted to focus on the home ticket sales, and thats fine just say so. Lets not pretend Carlisle haven't sent them.

What a night that was. Gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

 

It was epic. To see them go from 1 up to 2-1 down in the space of 5min and the carnage that followed was fantastic.

They pretended like we didn't matter but were giving it plenty when they went 1 up.

To be honest its a long time since I bought a ticket at the ground as I'm a season ticket holder.
However, you go up to the ticket office which is close to where you want to go, buy a ticket then present your ticket at the turnstiles, where they scan it. To buy the ticket in the first place they will take a card, cash or any amount of old shirt buttons you can find!!!! LOL They are normally £3 more expensive 'on the day', so most people buy them beforehand.
As far as asking for your personal details, I'm not sure whether they still do or not, as a couple of years ago there were major complaints, because it was taking forever to get in!!!!

 

One of the best atmospheres I've ever encountered at Valley Parade.

 

They probably forgot about them during the chaos of selling home tickets this week.
No time to answer the phone, no time to sort out away tickets.
Probably in the bin or gone through the shredder

Realistically and IMO rightfully the club will push for a home sell-out before placing away tickets on sale.

Away tickets will go on sale from 9am Monday morning I reckon.
