The dinosaurs have come through standing on the kop, not in a designated 'atmosphere section' but in the kop and sang there hearts out despite where they were stood, how the team were playing and without a drum.

@CL89@CL89 good luck, hope it works for you all. the problem you have, in my opinion, is that now that you have your designated area you now have to create the atmosphere despite the football on display. I don't really buy into this entertain us and we'll sing and bang a drum, you've wanted it for so long so try make it work. Good luck.

How much are the accoustics better in the corner?

I tell you what would have me up clapping and singing, Doyle and Vaughan hitting the back of the net on a regular basis, does it for me every time. I think our Kop is great when it gets going, it has been a bit depressed of late, understandably. I declare injuries and sickness over time to let our lads off the leash;)

My seat is in the part of the North West Corner where the atmosphere section will be placed.

Although some people have attempted to speak on behalf of me and my friends in this section on here and other other social media platforms by assuming we will be inconvenienced, we are not against this atmosphere section and I am actually looking forward to it.

If any of the remaining members of the handful of season ticket holders in these blocks do not have interest in the atmosphere section, there is more than enough space in the North West Corner for them to move away. That being said, I wouldn't be so sure that many in these blocks will be put off by it.

This idea has grown on me really. I don't really see it as laughable? We're not recruiting/manufacturing a fan group, we're just concentrating them to an area. I'd certainly rather join them in the NW Corner than right at the top of the Kop.

    I’ll be joining.

Me and a few of my mates who haven’t been to a game together since Sunderland Boxing Day 2018 have arranged to get tickets for the NW Corner and start early on the beer and make a day of it - purely as a result of this announcement.

    Bring it on!

I can see the attraction, reminds of the old kop where if you wanted to bounce around you could stand together with the rest of the likeminded at the top. An easy area to make all standing as well if the opportunity arises and theres plenty of other areas in the ground where the current seat owners could go.

i think it will all depend on how strict the club are at enforcing the ground rules in this section.

As for making it standing in the future if allowed only issue I could see is the steepness of it as it looks steeper than other parts of the ground?
