Wow, they must have been wearing ripped jeans with their club jackets and ties when they came up with their hyperlocal, customer journey, tosspot fest moniker of "Atmosphere section". WTF? What right minded young kid would be seen dead in an "Atmosphere section"?

Open the Bradford End, so the rest of us don't have to see a totally bleedin empty stand, charge over 16's £50 per ST as long they kick off and cause havoc regularly, bingo, everybody is a winner.

Yeah. Lets rip out the seats and put in a shallow brown ceramic toilet area and recreate the old Bradford End. You never came out with dry feet.

    I think it’s a great idea personally.

Huddersfield have a “singers section”, Celtic have their “Green brigade” corner, Palace have something similar.

For many supporters, especially / mainly the younger element, the atmosphere is what entices them to games even more so than the football.

I just hope this isn’t an excuse for some to light smoke bombs or flares as that is certainly not welcome at VP of all places.

Do you mean it has to be designated by the kids themselves?

well said that man! Yes I agree, it’s usually the dinosaurs who don’t like change. Negativity transpiring through their pores. Can’t bare the thought of their routine being changed (not even for a temporary trial to better the club) I’m sure some of them only come on here or visit VP to moan. 4th placed city gunning for promotion and it’s not good enough. If we win the league it will be the same next season, looking to tear strips of a player or a manager. Embarrassing!

The club would worry about over zealous fans running onto the pitch and the subsequent fines that would follow.

I was in NW corner last season and for last 5 seasons, we met some good folk there. We moved in the summer due to the club stating its become a family stand...

now they announce this 5 months later

Wow don't sit on the fence, I assume your above comments are aimed at older fans who don't always get involved with chanting ?.
I can assure you the fans in the Upper Sunwin many around me get involved, I can also understand why supporters who maybe had seats in that area for many years probably with friends and family should be asked to move seats, possibly a designated area should have been the clubs goal for next season and give supports who sit in that area the option of moving.
Only an old codgers opinion of course ;).

Rangers i believe have two sections.
    The Blue Order
    and
    Union Bears
    What could we call ours
On a serious note we do have issues leaving the stadium after the game with fans exiting the kop and the NWC the steps near the ticket office are very congested.

The decision may become telling by the number of ST renewals changing seats from the Sunwin block immediately next to the NW Corner, to somewhere more 'sedate' ? ;)

Just to clear a few things up.

The K Block in it's current format simply isn't working due to a number of reasons.
The main one is the location, right at the back of the Kop hiding away from everyone, the acoustics aren't travelling, in my opinion they never have travelled well even back in 2013, I can hardly hear the Atmosphere from D Block, Midland Road.
Agree with what most have said regarding our current style of Football, if there's entertainment on the pitch off the pitch will take care of itself.

We've had numerous discussions with the Club regarding the location over a number of years but nobody wanted to listen or wanted to do anything about it. Ryan to his credit sat down with us at the start of the season and we went through a few things and said we would revisit it later on in the season.
Originally we wanted the NWC Lower, closer to the action, decent numbers, we could have made it our own, that little section would be ideal as proven with Celtic, Town, Palace and a few other clubs.
But, due to the idiots running on the pitch this season the club didn't want to chance the same happening again which is fair enough.

The next best location in our opinion is NWC Upper.
We will be using Blocks G & H, as discussed with the club this has the least number of Season Tickets so it doesn't inconvenience that many people, the 2 blocks hold 485 seats which is more than enough to start off with.
The view from Blocks G & H is fantastic, acoustics decent, lower down so the atmosphere should travel better, nestled between the Sunwin & Kop so it should get those 2 stands involved more

In regards to the Bradford End, we've already tried that a number of years anyone remember "The City Gents" worked for a few week and never really got going.
Plus I don't think the club wants to open another stand due to costings and away end overflow.

It's something a bit different, it might work, it might not, but we've got to try something.

Hope this clears a few things up.
