Twitter this morning saying we lead the race over Wigan for Will Keane and are also looking to bring Shay Facey in who left Walsall last season, not because they wanted rid, but because he wanted to move elsewhere. Looking at his goodbye message and the Walsall fans reactions, he seems a very decent player. Just had an injury concern at Walsall as well by the sounds of it. Let's hope he's better than the last Shay we had.

 

Rumours of twitter say we are awaiting international clearance on a polish striker. And have that palace striker in this week to take a look.

Where's the one about the polish one? It's not Rabiega coming back is it? Just I follow Polish football, seen Legia Warsaw on more than a few occasions, so might be able to give an idea of if he's any good or not.

Always exciting to bring players from the continent in, even if most turn out crap let’s hope he does well if it’s true.

 

I think it may actually be more beneficial to sign two strikers capable of about 10 goals each. I wasn't of this view initially but we're clearly incapable of identifying and signing anything better so it may be the way to go. That and should we sign an Agard for example and he gets injured, we're straight back to two of the three donkeys. Even Kiwomya said last night we should be signing two strikers because this lot aren't good enough. I still think its unlikely but two younger forwards with pace and mobility suddenly makes that attack more bearable.

 

We are just cursed at picking strikers who can score goals,
just been looking at Alex Jones' career since he left us and sure enough, no improvement.
