Richmond looked for another site down Apperly Bridge on the other side of near the George & Dragon but was warned it was a potential flood area, think he got some training facilities in Leeds for a short time.
As far as I know it is now a joint venture between City and the school and we pay rent for the facilities.

 

We used to train at Ben Rhyding before we went into admin which because of the unpaid rent nearly sent them bust

Dont need terracing for training, its got changing rooms, a track for running, office facilites , all they need to do is cut the grass

 

Not sure which pitches @Mickey bantam is on about the one at the entrance of the school is a great surface which the kids play their home games on and that are used for training, the pitches under the railway bridge are also used and have been during my time of popping down to watch training.
I would doubt very much any manager/owner would accept unsafe amenities, plus as has been quoted the club have access to the pool, gym, treatment rooms, and eating facilities, I know there was a question with regards of "ice bath/baths" not being available I dont know it any gave been installed.

Were they? For as long as I can remember they've trained on the right hand side as you go towards Yeadon?

 

There were pitches on the fields opposite the George & Dragon behind the garage/car wash, we played a couple of away games Sundag league and the weren't the best.

 

Those were the ones I was talking about, we used to train on them for a while.
