Love the kiwomya'isms lads, keep it up! My personal favourite is when asked 1-0 down, 1 all or 1 up what city need to do it's 'well... Err you know... Manage the game'. Still trying to work out what he means. For those saying he has great insight being an ex player, you may be right but he completely fails to articulate and convey this insight. Gary Jones on the other hand is critical, is able to paint a picture for the radio listener of what's happening and can construct a sentence. Why isn't he on more often?

 

Hodgson and Houllier have played higher than Scott even if they would have played semi-pro level which they did. You would need to take the elevator well down the football pyramid to find a male footballer who would not get into the current England Womens team ? Indeed I could and I'm over 50 !

Damo asked why Andy Kiwomya was a higher level of player than Alex Scott. So I explained why I think he is ?. Therefore his opinion has more legitimacy in the mens professional game. That is all I am saying.

 

No mate, I’m referring to the original post #49 which @Damo then replied to. Unless I have missed something, you brought up Alex Scott first and basically put-down her knowledge because she didn’t play at a level equal to Kiwomya.

 

For those who listened - Did they commentate on solely City's game yesterday, or was it split 3-way between Huddersfield, Leeds and ourselves as the website suggests?

I wonder how they claim to broadcast Leeds and Huddersfield too then? Unless it depends on where abouts you're tuned in from?

 

Just wondering because my old man text me yesterday afternoon saying it wasn't City's commentary on BBC Radio Leeds on his digital radio.. maybe the frequency might explain that.

City are only ever on DAB when the other sides aren’t playing. I believe it’s an International weekend next and therefore we will be on all frequencies, DAB, FM, MW and the App.

If the other sides are playing at the same time as us, your dad will only find us on MW or on the App.

 

I will raise you with approx 100 "obviouslys" and 50 "hopefullys"
