Andy "You know" Kiwomya.

Andy Kiwomya has played the game way beyond the level that any female player will ever ? This is not to dismiss female footballers,from having "an opinion" but to try and legitimise this opinion alongside that of high level male professionals is patronising and mugs off the rest of us. How can Alex Scott ever understand the intensity; technique and pace involved with the mens professional game ? Its not sexist to state the obvious here ?. Andy Kiwomya would probably never get the gig on MOTD in competition with Scott who like a few women who have infiltrated the upper echelons of the mens professional pundit game who are there on "the equality card". I have a lot of time for womens football it has travelled quite far in a short time. But I would argue that women dont appear that interested in promoting their own game ?

 

Hodgson and Houllier have played higher than Scott even if they would have played semi-pro level which they did. You would need to take the elevator well down the football pyramid to find a male footballer who would not get into the current England Womens team ? Indeed I could and I'm over 50 !

Are you for real? Not sure why you are bringing the ladies game into this or citing Alex Scott. This thread is about the sometimes delusional comments that a former pro-footballer says.

I’ll give you just one example....

“Gary Bowyer will be the happier of the 2 managers tonight. His team was playing against a quality side and Bradford did themselves proud”.... we had just lost 1-0 to Luton..!

Damo asked why Andy Kiwomya was a higher level of player than Alex Scott. So I explained why I think he is ?. Therefore his opinion has more legitimacy in the mens professional game. That is all I am saying.

 

No mate, I’m referring to the original post #49 which @Damo then replied to. Unless I have missed something, you brought up Alex Scott first and basically put-down her knowledge because she didn’t play at a level equal to Kiwomya.

I wonder how they claim to broadcast Leeds and Huddersfield too then? Unless it depends on where abouts you're tuned in from?

 

Just wondering because my old man text me yesterday afternoon saying it wasn't City's commentary on BBC Radio Leeds on his digital radio.. maybe the frequency might explain that.

 

Correct. Leeds are on DAB, Town are on FM and City are on AM frequency.
