I would love the club to come out and sat they're aiming for mid table next year so I could see this outpouring of positivity from the fans.

There isn't a golden answer to fix it. What are you expecting them to say?

They're just going to try their best to get the right players on the pitch, just the same as every other club. What else can they say?

Fans of Bradford City have been through all sorts of adversities and one seasons consolidation with light at the end of the tunnel would do no harm
Businesses fail mainly due to mis management and lack of custom we have 13000 people myself included who bought season tickets and didn't know what league we were going to be in you underestimate the feeling for the club
Lots of businesses have traded through tough times but the ones that come out the other side have had drive ambition and the determination to do so

 

Exactly what every other team in the league are doing. Try and put the best team out on the field within the resources they have available to them.

It IS the main issue for supporters and only a fool would believe otherwise, The money will deal with itself and the owner will do what he thinks best, But he has sold us tickets and taken our money he has both an obligation and a DUTY to keep us informed of his plans and vision if he has any for the club, We can forget Rhodes as he is only makeweight and history but RUPP owes us better, Meeting the busy bodies of the supporters clubs and publishing minutes that mean nothing is not the same as the owner communicating to his customers direct

 

Is the correct answer. Most fans of this club aren't daft, they know what the current predicament is. But even if you are down on your knees you don't tell the the fans that, its PR suicide. Always project yourself as positively as you realistically can. Problem is the messages coming out of the club are open to interpretation. Start throwing some positives out, there are some there if our PR department can pull their finger out of their arse.

A CEO who doesn't like communicating should detail and oversee others to do the job
With the greatest of respect to JR he is not someone to shout our virtues from the rooftops
Mark Lawn and James Mason were the men to do that
We are a rudderless ship waiting to be steered in the right direction
How long that takes and how much damage will be done in the meantime remains to be seen

 

I agree with what you're saying, but what message do they come out with tomorrow? 'Yeah we sold 13,000 season tickets, but a large chunk are flexis and most of them probably won't turn up unless we get to Wembley and because of that we're skint and Gary will be cleaning the bogs on his day off'? You might be down on your luck and finances might be tight but you don't tell people that. Got to still let people know you mean business.

If we can't afford to give the most important man at the club the assistant he wants I very much doubt they will employ the likes of James Mason to get the message out to the fans, that's not saying I disagree.
