    Hernia ops are an easy procedure now and a pretty common occurrence with footballers. Recovery time is minimal.

    Agree mate, the only question that I have is why oh why has it taken so long (Cook been out for what, eight/nine weeks?) to have this done when it could have been sorted weeks ago instead of early December when he (allegedly) is due back in action (ha ha!) late December?

    Just over 4 weeks he been out so maybe at the start of his rehab he couldn’t have the operation
