    Yes just said the same. That’s a good signing…..With the right team, playing an attacking formation he will score lots next season.

    As others had posted and I observed, I think the entire squad had “lost” our management team at that stage. It was plain to see and as a result they were going through the motions?

    He can play the loan target man now just add two more strikers one he could pair up with if formation change and one with pace

    Agree, he was unlucky a few times as well so could have had more goals last season. The half volley at VP from about 40 yards out that hit the bar being one example. That had goal of the season written all over it, had it have gone in.

    That would be fantastic, obviously, but he hasn't hit those sorts of numbers since his non league days.

    If he starts week in, week out then I wonder if he can do it...?

    Probably as good as we are going to get, in that role. Reportedly on very good money at Mansfield, so may have taken a chunk of the budget.

    It's just a shame Lee Novak isn't younger and able to stay injury free.

    13 league goals in 43 appearances, but yes, he did add a couple of cup goals too.

    A cup run would be nice, actually...

    Plus they are adults, you have fallouts then you get over it and move on (unless women are involved, then it takes a little longer).
