You're right, you can be pro or anti woke but to deny it's existence is just bizarre and unreal..

The definition of being woke (in Britain) is making life as inconvenient, difficult and/or frustrating as possible for the overwhelming majority [native] demographic in order to pander to [any] minority demographic's demands.

I'm not sure that's so true now. I'm responsible and not extravagant at all. Drive a crappy car, very modest house and I'm having to be careful at the moment. Rent and mortgages are proportionately more expensive now than they were in my parent and grandparent days and I'm not sure if fuel has ever been so expensive. Tough times.

The context was ...roughly...a feminist event was taking place at a statue of Emmeline Pankhurst in Manchester. It was invaded by trans rights activists dressed like terrorists in black balaclavas and I think there were some assaults. The interviewee, again,hiding his/her identity was supposed to be defending the activists

Your quoting Harry Gration and look north and you want me to show you corruption within an organisation. Not being funny but my comments would be wasted on you.

 

Go on show me any way. Show me the corruption and division the BBC is invoking on us.

 

Had you have been serious with your first post I would have afforded you a serious reply.

 

I didn't think I would have to explain my initial post but here goes. BBC Look North is part of the BBC which you say is corrupting us all. I was merely bringing a local relevant feel to your sweeping generalisation that they were somehow brainwashing us all in a mad scramble to divide and conquer us.

You actually discounted your own argument by deriding me for using Look North as an example of the way the BBC is apparently acting-thus negating your point that the BBC is doing what you say as they are part of the BBC and you have agreed Harry and Amy are not doing what you say they are, otherwise you would have agreed with me.

Maybe your actual argument is that some parts of the BBC are brainwashing us but not local news teams. Begs the question which bit of the BBC do you really believe is attempting to divide and conquer us.
