Why the love in with Gilliead.
What would he do better coming on late in games that the already under contract East couldn't do ?

Very fair point. If we are having a leaner squad next season, I don't see the need for both of them.

 

If Gilloead is going to be a sub every game then he'll probably think (like Songo'o) that he's better off elsewhere and good luck to him.

Not saying he should stay or go, just adding in the player's perspective.

If he does leave , good luck to the lad. He found his ceiling probably, but absolutely nothing against him. A “managers player” , MH seems to think so.

I'm ok with him staying but his wages need to reflect his squad importance which imo will be lower than he will accept and that's the reason why I think he'll move on.

 

I think he'l stay. His engine is pivotal in a League Two team aspiring for promotion. Not to be confused with what we need from our starting 11, but someone who we can bring off the bench an can cover the tired legs of the players around them. I think Gillead is just feeling out offers an taking things from there, but even if he doesn't sign on with us, we will have another signing in midfield before the end of the window

The fans have never really taken to Gillead but every commentator covering the games always mention what he brings to the team, to be fair to him the role he had lat year isn't his natural game he's better further up as wide cam
