    Maybe but I just feel the position, pulling out to the left, saw him isolated and he doesn't have the legs to cover the ground quick enough.

    I think he's played in a variety of different midfield positions (and shapes), or at least that's my understanding - I think he plays wide right in a 4-4-2, or can play central attacking midfield, or where you describe, left-central midfield.

    I'm only guessing, but I think he's a more natural fit as a right sided attacking midfielder.

    We'll find out soon enough I guess :grinning:

    Very happy with this signing, our midfield now looks far better.

    I think it was in the FA cup game against us when he absolutely ran the show and made Smallwood and Gilliead look more static that they have all season.

    Pace and mobility in the centre, now for the wide areas please.

    Agyei. he can play up top or play as a winger. He would be perfect.

    im really impressed with pattinson. Thats a quality signing in a position we were weak in.

    We get agyei in and i think autos is very doable

    Exactly my thinking. Smallwood and MacDonald to compete for one role alongside Pattison with a hopefully rejuvenated Walker in front of them. Chapman/Oduor on the left, two newcomers for the right, Cook up top with another signing as backup with Oliver. That would make me pretty optimistic.
