Stop kidding yourself Hughes will play two up top he won't so it will be either Oliver or Cook, where have I blamed Oliver for Tuesday night as a team in those conditions we were poor unless you think because I posted he didn't ruffle the Rochdale CD feathers, there were others (most of the team in fact) that were poor at best.

Your highlight comment makes no sense before he was dropped he'd scored something like 16 goals in around 20 games now that will take some improving on with the sort of service coming from our midfield/wide men.

I don't think well agree on this one.

That's the annoying part as you say the players brought in Crichlow, Smallwood and Chapman/Young for the likes of Vernam, Watt and Pauldie were viewed as an upgrade but as you say we are still struggling to create more chances for our striker/strikers

Will take a point in the circumstances. Idiotic from Walker, no other way to describe it.

I was actually quite impressed with how we defended the last half hour. Didn't really give them a sniff aside from the free kick that Lewis saved well.

Attacking wise though, really poor again. No real chemistry/fluidity about us at the top end and forward players shit scared to pull the trigger. No width whatsoever either so a change from the diamond may be necessary.

We bring in about 12 wide men over the season and we have no width, doesn't make sense does it

Banks came to us with a reputation as a set piece specialist.

Disappointed today as no doubt most of us are, a point away at Wimbledon would be seen as an acceptable result normally but after Tuesdays horror show it seems poor, but despite this I'll try put a positive spin on it as I thought they dug in and battled well when down to 10 men, but even with 11 on the pitch some of the management was nothing short of diabolical, throwing an untried 20yr old loanee straight in wtf!! Smallwood on set pieces I mean what is that all about they are so bad it's untrue and then bringing Nevers on right at the death who athough it was only a small sample to judge on actually looks a decent player so beggers belief why he didn't get a run out against Rochdale, which at the time I put it down to fact he'd just arrived and MH wanted to settle him in a little first, but then that theory is right out the window with Costelloe thrown straight in who let's be honest at the moment looks a million miles away from what we require for someone to be starting. I really want to get behind MH because hiring and firing has got us nowhere but I'm beginning to thin if he does somehow get us u this season it will be more luck than good management as a lot of his decisions do seem to be hampering us. Anyhow as I mentioned I'll put a positive spin on it for us, if we can somehow find a performance next week against Carlisle and get the 3 points then since we apparently turned it around with the 2 home wins then we would have accumulated 10 points from the last possible 15 points, which you could argue sot of keeps us on track for the play offs, don't get me wrong I certainly wont be holding my breath.

He needs to stop getting injured that’d be a start!

Corners have to reach the area for the centre halves to have a chance of heading it in.

Let’s face it, the sending off didn’t make a difference. If we’d have had 12 men on the pitch instead of 10, we still wouldn’t have scored.

Central midfield needs an upgrade. Both wings need to be used. One of our front two needs to be quick. If not, then it’s mid table again imo.

In fairness we know only one of those full backs would create anything of a threat.

Their player bought the tackle , Walker who was running round with a screw loose, paid for it with crypto currency. He showed signs of it with Watt the other week. We wanted a no nonsense hard tackling midfielder not someone behaving the way he did yesterday!

Besides being poor, and potentially bottling a penalty, I haven’t seen a reply, our poor performance made it easy for the ref. So not his fault whatsoever.

Yeah, one of the reasons i'd expect Parky brought him to the club. I'd have to go back to Dave Challinor to remember someone with such a throw.

    Tranmere away was always fun.
Didn’t matter where the ball went out of play.Challinor always took his throws from the gaps in the advertising hoardings.

Liuke a human howitzer. When used correctly its arguably more of a threat than a corner because there are so few people who can do it.

Having just seen some of the lowlights from yesterday's game, Cook has to come back in for Oliver. The headed chance about a yard out and just to the side of the post in front of our fans, i think Cook would have buried it. Vadaine for a lad at over 6 feet completely miss timed it and the ball hit his chest and went wide.
We might not be creating many chances, but when we do , we miss 99%
