That philosophy is nonsense. On that basis do you expect Bournemouth and Brentford to be back in league 2 in the near future simply because that’s where they’ve played for most of their history?

 

I’ll put my neck on the line and say we’ll get promoted this season. I think Adams will iron out the wrinkles in the team and performances. I don’t think we’re a million miles away, a few tweaks needed and a bit more composure in the final third. No major cause for concern in my opinion. People need to keep the faith.

The one clear problem is finishing we created enough chances to beat Barrow and even though it's cool to say otherwise we should have put them away comfortably

I noticed that Paudie O'Connor looked visibly upset when Evans came off and there were ironic cheers now whether they were for Adams finally making a substitution or because fans were jeering Evans Paudie didn't look happy about it and shook his head in dismay

The boos at the end of the game were totally uncalled for yes it was very frustrating but nothing I saw was boo worthy other than the forwards constantly missing the goal heck even Cooke could have scored with a free kick or two and then everyone feels different

I still blame Sparks for whipping the fans up into an expectant frenzy silly boy hope he learns his lesson quickly about promising and not delivering

 

There were plenty of fellow posters on here telling fans what was going on at Valley Parade during Rahic tenure, and how he micro managed everything Thats how he conned Rupp by keeping the goings on at Valley Parade under wrap until John Dewhirst and another fan got meetings with Rupp and let the cat out of the bag, the rest is history.
With regards the no 10 shirt I can only guess that situation is why Turnbull is no longer at Valley Parade and Adams will be making a statement in October.

The boos were very poor I agree, especially when Cook was subbed for Robinson. I know the boos weren’t aimed at either players more likely just for Cook going off not giving him time to have a strike partner up front but it’s poor imo, not what Robinson or the team need to hear when a sun is happening with 10 minutes left and the points still in the balance. I’m not a fan of booing at all but if that’s what people like at least save it until the games over, if Vernam scored that 1 v 1 which he should them boos would have been cheers. It’s a fickle game though as we all know.

 

I did see it as just that to be honest Bronco. I just wanted the confirmation for everyone else really. I think we share the sarcastic wit. I think mine, along with my tendency to wind up comes from my working apprenticeship/education. The sarcasm and winding people up was quite brutal and would be classed as bullying today.

Adams rightly admitting we don't have the Nahki type xfactor player that gets you out of this division more often than not. His evaluating of the squad tells me we need at least another transfer window before Adams is anywhere near happy with this squads ability to be as successful as he wants.

 

As most people could see this before the season started, I assume the failure to address the problem and Lee Turnbull leaving are related.

 

Nahki Wells is 32 next year. Could we get him back?

 

No just like when you said we should go for Neil Warnock, you aren’t the only one but more realism is required by our fan base. When we are picking up the likes of Robinson on Lavary on short term deals someone who still plays regularly in the championship and scores is way beyond our dreams.

 

Teams with owners who have a dream and ambition are usually the ones who thrive.
Then there’s fans like you who think everything is out of reach. Typical Bradford attitude where too many people think they can’t better themselves so just accept what they have until they die.

 

Wells was 31 in June and is under contract to 2023. I think Bristol City paid three or four million for him last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if his annual salary would cover City’s wage bill for six months.

There is showing ambition and then there is being unrealistic.

 

I’m willing to give DA the benefit of the doubt and at least 2 transfer windows (preferably 3) but where things fall down is playing the same failing formation and poor players-this is why fans lose faith
