We ended below them teams last season and they have far more off field structure than us, it took Parky nearly a full season of being near the bottom before we were promoted the following season. We aren’t going to go from a team that went on two 7 game losing streaks under two separate managers in the same season to promotion contenders within 8 games after the last loss streak, we even have a strong majority of the same squad who went on that losing run. It’ll take a few years of steady improvement imo to get the right players in and create a winning mentality in the club. A new owner would also help create direction and a new buzz, but isn’t realistic atm. It’s time our fans started being more patient because them getting their wish of sack sack sack for the last 4.5 years hasn’t helped a bit.

 

Absolutely agree that Gilliead and Evans are showing nothing to warrant their places in the starting 11 at the moment but unfortunately, Adams has named them as two of the five he is counting on to score our goals so I can't see him dropping either of them.
Apparently, Barrow had to play a make shift defence yesterday due to injuries, and none of the back four had ever played together before. That we weren't able to capitalise on that is nothing short of criminal.

With regards Rupp do you know something we don't, without doubt he was conned into buying our club and allowing a virtual stranger to run it ad-lib but not sure once he sacked him there is a lot more he can do he has kept us afloat during a very difficult time.
Yes we can scream as a multi millionaire he should be throwing money at the club but deep down most recognise that ain't going to happen, so Ryan and his team have to generate finance from non football sources, I'd prefer an owner who was more involved with the day to day running, but until that happens we have to accept what we have and hope if were still around the top 7 come January he gives Adams the financial backing to deliver promotion, unlike a certain chairman many years ago who didn't, stating the squad was strong/good enough to get promoted without Curle and Townsend.

Correct we are just not AMBITIOUS enough. I blame myself for now wanting the club to have its own training facility and own its own ground. I am thrashing myself as we speak.

 

Bog off. I'm far from happy to bump along but the fact is no one gets promoted in September. How about those that got credit card companies to refund for the 25 year season ticket but still claim the discount eh.

Not sure what 25 years season ticket holder have to do with us not being ambitious, and happy to bump along the khazi league.
If buying a 25 years season ticket isn't showing hope/ambition for your club I dint know what is.
