Pretty much what I said on here last week or so. Adams Is currently doing nothing to suggest he’s worth backing in January. Not even close.

Realistically, Stefan Rupp isn't going to spend any money in January. So whatever we bring in will be within the current budget and is unlikely to take us anywhere near to promotion challengers.

Similarly, sacking Derek Adams isn't going to happen as I doubt Stefan Rupp would sanction another compensation payment. Sacking him would also reflect very badly on Ryan Sparks.

We will plod on, hoping that we've got enough about us to avoid looking nervously at the bottom of the table. I think we have, just.

 

I think you’re right and hope you are on the last part of being safe etc.
but if we lose our next two (I know worse case scenario pessimistic) but let’s say we do lose. We will be level on points with Colchester and Sutton just 2 points off of us.
Those have been two bad sides this year. I’d say then we are in real trouble. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that

Don't get this Trevor. Adams got Ross County promoted twice in Scotland; Plymouth and Morecambe in the EFL. That's four promotions he managed. 'Luck' happens in one off games - you can't be lucky throughout an entire season, never mind through four seasons worth of promotions. Like you, I'm utterly underwhelmed by what he's achieved thus far at VP, but a season is a marathon not a sprint. Let's see what Xmas and New Year brings from him.

Wellens is not in any way similar to Adams and doesn't logically follow on.

We would need someone to pick up from where Adams leaves off and not simply start again AGAIN.

Time people woke up and realised that whoever comes in will be up against it .........,,,,it’s the way this club and its fan base operate no long term vision no nothing and folk sit there wondering why it’s gone from bad to worse since our playoff defeat .......... Jewell complete shocking start but he got us there once he sorted his team out

Honestly if I was Adams with our fan base I would Fook off ASAP because I can guarantee you that if he does go that he will end up doing more than the poor sod who walks into this mess
