Even if we tonk Scunthorpe I’m not convinced whatsoever by Derek Adams.

Even Hopkin had a decent run around Christmas when we were sh*t.

The longer this baron run goes on the more he has to do to convince people otherwise. He’s done nothing so far.

 

Hes been successful at several other clubs, so he's clearly capable. This squad needs some serious work. We can't be starting again with another manager.

Yes he took Plymouth up but when the pressure came he failed as he’s doing with us.

6 points behind Sutton and Harrogate almost half way through the season for feck sake and you’re wanting to invest further into this clown.

We are a little bit bigger than Plymouth in terms of stadia, attendances, turnover, and how high we have peaked this past 30 years.

Our revenue is still higher than theirs regardless of the ticket price, so it makes no difference when comparing the two clubs.

Take away the cheap season tickets & there will be only 4 to 6000 in the ground each home game
We are NOT A BIG CLUB we have been in the bottom 2 divisions more often than we have been out of them
We have been passed by teams like Accrington Stanley, Barrow even Harrogate Town
Our revenue as you say maybe bigger but you may aswell open the toilet seat for what good it has done us

All we get are excuses and platitudes. I'm very much of the view that Adams needs to be given at least this and next season. However, things need to improve quickly.

Has anyone watched the 'Making Macclesfield' documentary on BBC?

Earlier this year, you have an entrepreneur buying a dead football club, whose stadium had been mothballed and which had no operational or playing staff. Within 3 months, he'd fitted a 4G pitch (which the public can rent), a gym and a quality bar/restaurant open to the public. He's made it profitable within 3 months from a standing start. He's recruited a DOF, a Manager and Assistant, back room staff and a playing squad. All from scratch. They're 2nd in their league. Because he was massively interested and worked to make it happen, investing strategically to make a huge difference in quality.

This idea that you can't transform a lower league club very quickly is nonsense.
