seriously what do you expect..

Its infuriating now.

in five years we have had eight managers. every season during this period our league position has been lower than the one before.

maybe just maybe having different managers with differing play styles is harming recruitment. is that not a possibility? do you really think this one of the strongest teams in the league? Honestly I don't think it is.

how is it going to improve if we keep making the same mistakes?

 

I totally agree about the constant changing causing issues and that is why I was happy when we announced we were employing a system involving a recruitment manager/specialist/DOF. My understanding was that then when we appointed a manager they would have to agree and buy into the system instead we got Adams in who then proceeded to get the system changed back. Another wasted transfer window

 

you cannot blame him for changing it back considering how shocking the recruitment has been over the last 2 windows

 

Despite the fact there are clubs in League One who were in the Conference when Rupp turned up the current mess is all the fault of Rahic/Richmond/McFarland* and definitely nothing to do with anybody currently at the club.

Mistakes will be made, Sparks is a nobody in the grand scheme of CEO experience, Adams has obviously got teams promoted so knows how to do it. We’ve a weak overall squad but a decent enough first eleven when they can be ar sed.

Hopefully both Sparks and Adams will have realised the need to up their game, management changes will only set us back at this stage.

Hopefully between them both, they realise we really must strengthen the first 11 in Jan, and they make it happen (not the usual name dropping missed targets) which will involve the club committing some significant funds.

when you compare this team to the BCFC one that went up from L2, it is pitiful.

Another wasted transfer window IF we change it. Thats the core problem in my opinion. The fact we keep changing it. If we stick with someone long enough their team will take shape.

and to be honest turnbulls signings were never going to make a good team.

 

What's the point of Adam's coaching them then?
It's his job to make things work. Up to now he's failing.

 

Can someone explain to me in simple terms , as i am slow to catch on. Where this new owner, new ceo, new manager (how many in the past few years) and wonder players are coming from. Same place as the past 45 years i have been watching city, they do not exist. Unless i win the euromillions jackpot. Unfortunately the club like the city itself suffers
from a very bad image nationally and so misses out on any real investment.

 

If i won the euro millions, Bradford City would be the last thing I would spend my money on. I'd buy Huddersfield first and turn them into a basket case just for a laugh.

 

The club is rotten, It would be foolish to blame Adams for the mess we are in and sack him now, it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

Sparks is completely out of his depth and shouldn't be the CEO of a club as big as Bradford City, he has been promoted from within because he was the cheap option. He's done an excellent job at getting new investment and partners in the building and that's the job he should have. To make him CEO was a terrible decision and one I feel we will deeply regret for years to come.

Im not going to VP for the rest if the year, I can't be bothered, I might consider going back in January if the recruitment is any good (I doubt it). I just can't see Rupp spending any money. RUPP OUT

Id like to think, with 15k fans every week and a stadium with a huge capacity, a clever business man/woman would happily take us on. And with some investment could see up near the top of league one in a few years time. Plenty of other clubs seem to be managing it.

 

So if i got a load of pensioners in front of him youd still expect him to get us up?

which of our players are quality? No where near all of them.

so you’d carry on with the same plan that over five years has got us relegated and continuously further down the table. Madness.

Or came here and found the players he wanted over a few weeks? (Even though Ryan said we were planning for the summer while T&S were in charge)
