So be it. The quality is there for all to see. If Rupp has the means to sign those players, add 3-4 more, and we can ship off the dross like Reeves, Jones, Riley, Brunker, we'll go up next season. And we'd have a squad full of players with real resale value. It'd be a couple of million, so it's not pennies, but it'd be an investment.

And you could stick ST prices up - people will pay more to watch this side.

Hey, I've managed betting shops for a quarter of a century. I gamble myself, have been stupid on a number of occasions personally. I see many issues and so have great belief that recognition of issue is incredibly important.

 

Even if we won every game we'd only hit 75 points, which wouldn't necessarily get us in the play-offs. Sixth place already have 45.

 

Have to admit, I was pretty nervous about today given Accy's record against us but I'm happy to say all that worry was for nothing. Great result, not just because it moves us out of the drop zone but also because it gets another bogey off our back.

 

If we win every remaining game (which obviously we wont) we'd get 87 points, not 75.

We need to average 2.3 points a game to get a likely playoff finish. That's in excess of title winning form. Not happening

You're right, for some reason I calculated based on a 42 game season, must have regressed a few years in terms of brain cells over the festive break!
