    It's the only slight negative that this team Hopkin has got working so well isn't really ours. 4 of our best players, all on loan - hopefully that changes either in January or in the Summer, and we sign the majority of them for ourselves.

    Really shows that - even when the team is working well - the bumbling Summer transfer window continues to be seen in a poor light.

    No disrespect to our players, because its a team game obviously and on that front we're doing very well, but our players signed on permanent transfers have little or no value.

    Wasn't that supposedly the strategy?

    Yet it might cost over or around a million pounds just to sign the on loan foursome...

    Feels like Rahic left us with a false economy to me.

    So the obvious comparator is Barnsley in 15/16.

    Although Barnsley have a very similar record to us today, notable differences to today's table is that (at a similar number of games) they had 3 more points and the side in 6th had 6 less points than today.

    Although we can all dream it does seem unlikely lads and lasses (I know "boo", I thought it too! :joy:)
