Hard NOT to criticise Rupp for allowing Rahic to run the club like he did for so long. How could a successful businessman such as Rupp take his eye off the ball given his large investment

I know how Rahic could get away with it, the business I’m a director of is run at arms length and they trust us. I also know I could blow the whistle to group pretty quickly if I heard of anything under hand, and they’d listen to me, and that’s what amazes me about City, what were the other directors and senior management doing during Edin’s reign? And why didn’t Rupp listen to them until a handful of people travelled to Germany to meet face to face with Stefan? How has the biggest cash income since the PL days left us worse off? How, bantam2708, Hoochy-Min and 4 others like this. -

One further comment is that it appears that somebody has provided a short term loan to the club probably to get us over a short term cash flow issue pending the arrival of the McBurnie money. And since there is no reference to any financial transactions bewteen the owner and the club in the accounts (which there has to be) and no reference to another secured loan at Companies House, I can only assume that it's the club's bank which has provided this in the short term. The bank is already registered as a secured creditor.ConnecticutBantam, Jayteebee, Interested Bystander and 1 other person like this. -
Oh dear, that’s not a good read. Technically we’re insolvent. We’re dependant on Rupp continuing to finance the club and the bank supporting him. So if we’re going to renew our season ticket I hope we can use our credit card to protect our investment.

I don't understand this concept of voiding the current season and regarding it as never having happened. The consequences of that would be enormous for all involved
Does that mean the colossal amounts already paid by Sky and BT are to be paid back by the PL clubs? I doubt it without an enormous legal battle. Are the outstanding amounts due to the PL clubs not to be paid? There might be some reduction in the additional amounts for individual televised games but I doubt the 'basic' allocation being paid without legal address. What about the EFL payments already paid to clubs such as ours? Will they have to be repaid if the season is voided? Only if they want to drive just about every EFL club into liquidation. If it is voided, does it mean the EFL/PL will go back on what they've already announced about paying the remaining amounts earlier to EFL clubs? That would be an incredible volte face and would damage the reputation of the EFL and PL irreparably with the EFL clubs. And that's before there is any discussion on which clubs would be England's entants for the very lucrative CL or maybe we'll just tell UEFA that there are no PL clubs entering the next CL because our season has been voided!
If the season is voided in the way some people are discussing it, it simply doesn't stack up.Fordy117, NorthernMonkey and bantam2708 like this. -
the outcome will be one of two things, firstly the season is finished(preferred option by FA, PL and EFL) or it is ended early and places allocated by either current positions or adding in average points per game so that everyone has ‘played’ same number of games.
problem with the second one is teams that are relegated will probably go to court as well as those that just miss out on promotion especially those in play off positionsJayteebee, bantam2708 and Fordy117 like this. -
