Might have put a bit in to tide us over. Swimming with cash now though aren't we. We've got the saved Vaughan and Doyle wages plus the fee for Doyle. We've got the McBurnie money plus extra coming this summer.

I'm sure Stefan will leave that cash in the club rather than stuffing his pockets and running away giggling like a schoolgirl.

You say that but if the season is null and void then could be a legal case for both Tranmere and Swindon to get the money back for the club in the wages they've paid our olayers(Doyle not now) for a season that didn't happen.

McBurnie money will only come in if and when the season finishes. If it doesn't then Sheff Utd won't have to pay.

It's out there I believe that if Sheff Utd stay up then they owe us x amount.

Now, if the PL doesn't finish then the season then Sheff Utd can say that we don't have to pay Bradford because the season doesn't count and when the next season starts & if they go down we won't get anything.

When Hoyle sold his stake in the club to a fellow local businessman Phil Hodgkinson the new owner or his legal people should have picked that up when doing due diligence?.

Does that mean that PL clubs won’t receive income / prize money based on their final league position?
If the season is abolished completely then my guess is that contracts and money owed will still take place based on the season having finished. The only thing that won’t happen is promotion and relegation.

The money won't be coming from anywhere if the season is cancelled.

 

Like I say, if Sheff Utd get their TV money then they should pay us the add ons owed for staying up.
If Sky don’t pay them based on the season being ‘cancelled’ ‘incomplete’ then fair enough, we get nothing unless they stay up the season after, which they will.
Also, if stats are expunged then nobody can ever bleat on about us selling the leagues top scorer ever again.
