Thank god for McBurnie. Could have been beyond dire if not for that money.

 

Although yes technically you could class us as insolvent the reality is we are no different to the vast majority of EFL clubs and a fair few non-league clubs and possibly even some premier league clubs who would go bust overnight if their owner pulled the plug and stopped covering the losses.

 

I thought I'd read somewhere though that they may still promote and relegate teams based on position when the league was suspended.

 

How much would the potential McB monies bring in? and do you think this would this be reimbursed to Rupp or invested back in to the club? I suppose time will tell....

 

Think you will find the deal was done after the end of the last financial year so the money will be in the current accounts ending June 2020.

You can make Directors loans or the money could come from the holding company ER Sports Group gmbh in whose accounts the money will show, not BCFC accounts.

 

wouldn’t a directors loan have to show in the abbreviated accounts somewhere?

@Dennis has said there is nothing showing in the German equivalent of companies house either, so that rules out the funds coming via there unless it has been put in this financial year?

 

Have you seen that it hasn’t been ratified yet and that at least 30 clubs are looking at trying to block the move through legal action, plus there is talk about action being taken if the women’s leagues are treated differently to the men’s.

if 30 clubs at such a low level are looking into action to block it then I’d expect more the further you go up the pyramid

No idea, I'm not in that loop but knowing Julian and Stefan, I doubt it.

 

Is the McBurnie money going towards paying Rupp back/cover the deficit or into the playing squad? Unless it’s the latter I don’t think anyone really cares if Rupp temporarily injected cash to cover his own mess. He’s depleting possibility the most lucrative windfall in our 100 + year existence.

The League cup run, FA Cup run, Wisdom, Wells and McBurnie should have seen this club on sound foundations and it’s been p1ssed up the wall. McBurnie is our record transfer sale and for what? Hope feck1ing Akpan and Rahic’s dreams that’s what.

I know how Rahic could get away with it, the business I’m a director of is run at arms length and they trust us. I also know I could blow the whistle to group pretty quickly if I heard of anything under hand, and they’d listen to me, and that’s what amazes me about City, what were the other directors and senior management doing during Edin’s reign? And why didn’t Rupp listen to them until a handful of people travelled to Germany to meet face to face with Stefan? How has the biggest cash income since the PL days left us worse off?

No, she may have worked there but never listed at Companies House.
