    Cowley brothers
    Mark Warburton
    Paul Hurst

Any of those would be decent imo

And how would this unproven, unheard of (in coaching circles) bloke ‘fit with the club’ he had no association with?

As I said, a MASSIVE no from me

Perhaps @Dennis@Dennis , But I'm not so sure either could work with Edin ? McCann, maybe - As McAntony at Peterboro' was also a little 'hands on'. ;)

McCann certainly worked in a similar 'Edin' model at Posh with two very strong egos in football leadership roles - Fry and MacAnthony.

I was thinking in terms of Bruno (if available), or Bellamy ...... One played for us, and the other had trials with us - so not TOTALLY unrelated. ;) Both would be busting a gut to succeed, IMO. :)

I'd be delighted if we got Bruno but if West Brom are stupid enough not to give him the job there on a permanent basis he will be wanted by far more attractive propositions than us so we'd have no chance of getting him.

More than likely ...... BUT ........ IF City COULD catch Bruno ............ What's to say his great mate Jacobs would not be a pull, and his possible number 2 ? ;)

No way will Wayne take the job. Either at WBA or City.

Spoke with Wayne yesterday and he believes Darren will be offered the WBA job, and in his opinion not a chance of him coming to Valley Parade.

Well in terms of managerial experience he has none. However, he’s been a coach for a few years now, done his badges and has been looking for a job (he turned down the Oxford job).

As a pundit he talks a lot of sense and comes across very well. So my gut feeling is he’s be a good manager and I’d happily take a gamble on him.

When Bellamy looked a cert for the Oxford job , kieron Dyer said on soccer am he was going to be the no.2 .
Its two young coaches that will have contacts and a massive desire to make it work.
Kind of like the idea over the other failed elsewhere managers mentioned.
Still like Neil Redfern as an option also.

Trouble is they don't go hand in hand and make a good coach/manager, coaching badges and being a good pundit certainly didn't help Gary Neville at Valencia.

Hell Chris, why not give it to Stephen Warnock in that case? Started and ended his career with us and is currently taking his coaching badges. Is that all we need these days ???

Sorry but ‘coming across very well’ as a pundit is not the same thing as being a head coach under someone like Rahic. I believe Bellamy isn’t even the u23 coach at his club (he coaches u19s), so I’d rather he got his experience elsewhere.

Now, if we were to consider a youth coach, we’d be better off with McBurnie’s u23 Swansea coach

I'm confused as to how Bellamy has been mentioned.

    Can someone explain?

But that’s the stature of club that we are. We are the level of club that should be giving manager’s a chance. Granted it’s a gamble but all managers need to start somewhere.
