What is not true about that the season before the two Wembley appearances we were close to going out of the league and out of existence so that shows how with the right manager things can change quickly

 

Let it Cheer you up. It was a great day, a deserved promotion in an incredible season. One we won't see too often, I would hazard to guess.

As for the current crop, well so be it. They are part of the failure that this season is. I don't go to the game with an agenda, on what response I will dish out at the end of the game (positive, neutral or negative) , assuming I'm still there. I'd only left a couple of games, to memory, early prior to this season but this season, at least half a dozen times including leaving at 50 minutes vs Blackpool.

That is MY way of communicating my disconnect and discontent of the abject failures right throughout the club. Not everybody's cup of tea but mine....

I gave up on the season following the Plymouth game. But here's a thought and one I apply in my logic.

When things improve and they will, I'll be able to use this season as a benchmark on how things change for the good.

 

I only meant it in a light hearted way. I wasn't knocking your point of view. I don't think that having a bad season is a prerequisite for having a successful following season though. It could happen but it's anyone's guess at this point.
