You’ve every right to attend Onside, pissed off or not. Clap, don’t clap, walk out, boo etc. You don’t have to justify yourself. If the players have a problem, it’s their own doing. Five losses on the spin, in our last chance saloon, yeah, definitely worthy of continued applause, that. Fair enough if that’s your prerogative, can’t understand it, personally. You’d have thought, by law of averages, we’d have fluked a win in that run. Not with this lot.

Is there going to be any seasonal awards given out this campaign? Not be uncomfortable viewing, at all that one

He has every right to make his own decision but not to call others because they do clap, cheer, "This team do not deserve to be clapped off this season. It goes back to my empathy comment that upset people a few weeks ago but I stand by it. As a fan base we are very very soft. The abandonment of the flyover tells you all you need to know" he may not want to clap/chant or vocally support the team but to suggest other fans shouldn't, that's the difference.

Like I said.. Does anyone clap you out of work after one half decent performance in 8 months? Taking away the fact 15000 people have paid good money to watch them do close to nothing all season.
If you want to clap them off then fair enough but like it or not they don't deserve it. You can question my attitude and my support if it helps you to try and justify drivel.

Each to their own. If i was making a right arse of a job though, not sure a bit of reassuring applause would be the way forward. Anyway whether you clap or not, if this lot don’t realise they are pretty much one of the worse sides we’ve had this misfortune of seeing, then they can’t be that bright.

What are you disagreeing with? The fact as a fan base we bottled the fly over to try and not upset Rupp? Whats he done to deserve that?
We couldn't even muster a half decent protest. Im not calling for anarchy but with such a big following you do wonder why fans from clubs like Blackpool, Port Vale, Charlton, Gateshead, Newcastle have all made moves to remove their owners and we cancelled a fly over incase we upset the money man.

Seriously though what would the score be?....

    upload_2019-4-8_13-39-24.png vs upload_2019-4-8_13-43-29.png

For arguments sake using the 10/11 team as a benchmark for survival in League 2.

    Just how sh*t are we?

Why is it any different?? Do these players deserve to be clapped off? The fact you cant properly answer also means that I can't take anything you have said seriously.
Rewards within different work places are of course different. If you performed well then maybe you'd get a pay rise or a promotion. Footballers even at our level get paid very very well and appreciation from fans goes a long way. Our lot deserve not one bit of appreciation. You stay and clap them but dont expect me to fathom why.

I'm not disagreeing if fans feel they have been let down by the players efforts during the game, no problem don't react in any way that shows the players your support, I didn't stay back and clap but I did chant to try and lift the team, but then that's me I'm far from happy with our present situation, we can only see what the closed season brings, but as Arnie would say "I be back" ;).

what good is effort when we lost the game, are 7 points adrift at the bottom and are getting relegated. It's all a bit late now, so im not sure why our fans are so eager to congratulate them for it? These players don't deserve the slightest bit of adulation.

You know as well as I do why @JonButterfield@JonButterfield cancelled the fly bye, he was asked to give Stefan a chance as who ever got in touch with Jon thought seeing a fly bye may have a detrimental effect on Stefan's dealing at our club.
Stefan has supported the club with money to cover the situation his partner at the time left us in, lets see what the closed season brings and decide what we think of Stefan.
And how successful have the fans of the above clubs been in getting rid of the owners?, bearing in mind it was not the fans at Blackpool who got Oyson out.

i did say at the start of the season none of these players would get into Harrogate Towns or BPA's reserve squads and I haven't seen anything this season thats going to change my mind.

If Rupp doesn't splash the cash this summer, then its another relegation next season, the current squad will then be at their level.

And how did it go giving him a chance? How many games has he bothered to come and watch? Hes negligent.
Im not saying they have all achieved something.. Yet. Protests though do bring around more media coverage. People start to take notice. It becomes more uncomfortable for the owners when fans start to show discontent. We did lots of that.. Behind a keyboard.

Why do owners need to be at games, he is not a football man which I was suspicious of at the time when he and Rahic bought the club, but as Rahic was moving over to see to the days to day running of the club I didn't see a major problem.
I'd suggest him funding the clubs losses are a very good start, and promising future finance, which makes sense if he wants to eventually get any sort of return on is investment.
Once again I don't have a problem with individual fans not clapping, cheering or giving the players any sort of support but if I was that annoyed with the situation I personally would not attend games as many on here have said they wouldn't, your claims of "keyboard warriors" are a little insulting/childish, of course that 's only my opinion many might support you fortunately we all see things differently.

I think personally, under most circumstances, the start of a game it’s like a clean slate in terms of ‘support’. I would encourage them of course, but if the match develops into another piss poor spectacle then it is unlikely they will get clapped off; more likely face a bit of ‘annoyance’ from me :brig: but we are beyond this stage now, ok some look mathematically and hope their unequivocal support will somehow lead to the great escape. For me, the writing has been on the wall for ages. The closer it gets to undeniable inevitability then it becomes difficult to turn up with a clean slate attitude. Fair enough to fans that are more tolerant, not sure going to any games now would be good for the old, blood pressure.

I was still hoping the team could beat Doncaster last Saturday and we could still cling onto the hope we could get ourselves out of trouble, but being realistic apart from that 5/6 game run we have never look anything but a relegation fodder.

City vs Northampton play off final on Sky Sports Football in 10 mins. Don't know whether it will cheer me up or depress me.

It should give you optimism that we can turn things round like we did that season after the season before that
