Just bought my priority tickets too, wanna make sure I get a ticket at wetherby Road sennasits a 2 minute walk from my house

 

Do the priority tickets have numbers? As we will only get a few hundred from Harrogate?

 

Their ground holds 5000 now, they'd give us the whole side and behind the goal at the bar side , I reckon about 800

 

Blinking eck that's a very decent return. About 33% more than I reckoned!!

I passed comment a few weeks ago about a figure of 14,000 which one or two questioned, it was
more tongue-in-cheek than a serious quote but 12,000+ is a great effort, cheap tickets or not, these last 16 months or so have been demanding to say the least.

 

A great effort, some of us didn't need hindsight to realise the price increase would have very little effect on ticket sales whilst giving the club a better income.

 

It would be interesting to see the breakdown of those figures, those who paid in full and those who took the installment method.
I was sceptical with regards installments but I would think to get that figure many paid by that method which is once again another feather in Ryan hat.

Big season ahead though. Vital!

 

It will be good to see how many haven’t renewed from 19/20, not to have a dig at the club but it’ll be a good target for Ryan to try get them back next season plus keep any new fans from this season. Only Ryan, Derek and the players can bring them list customers back but it’s a good aim for the club for next season’s sales. Hopefully as a league 1 club.

 

I always thought they should have named it the Norman Corner Corner

 

In truth we have lost what around 6k fans from the highest point.

We can dress up numbers but the facts are Bradford City are paid fans but this is why its vital we go up next season because I don't think we will do 12k if we don't.

 

The 18k is an unrealistic target atm, I agree with the last part we need promotion but we shouldn’t start thinking about season ticket sales of 18k again unless we get to the championship. Should we go up and go up in style, build an atmosphere around the place again then from a business POV we target those who haven’t renewed from our first season back in league 2 and maybe increase the season tickets to around £225. Still a very reasonable price and with the interest free option very affordable. But Ryan will no doubt be setting targets of getting lost season ticket holder’s back, but it won’t happen over night and will need on field success.

 

The ability to pay over twelve months mitigated the price increase but there was more than a third of 19/20 season ticket holders who didn’t renew no doubt some of those were financial

 

I doubt many were financial. The price rise is minimal, in the scheme of things.
Much more likely to be a combination of those who are still nervous about being in large crowds (mostly older supporters), those who have found other things to do on Saturday afternoons and those who are fed up with watching L2 football and will probably come back if we get promoted.

 

Probably more due to the impact of Covid than increase of tickets, I know a few not renewing none have had anything to do with the price increase, nor have I seen that reason on social media.

In The only figures I have seen there was about a quarter paid that way. Bythe way according to Ryan it’s 12.200 now so another busy day

 

It can be dressed up any way you want but the hard facts are after over a season interrupted by covid and four years of absolute dross, over 12,000 fans have paid in the majority a 25%increase to watch league 2 football. That is a without doubt a huge success and credit needs to go to Sparks for raising revenues while giving fans different ways to pay.

 

I have already said it’s a great figure to reach and it’s a fair bit bigger than I thought. As I say the pay monthly option helped those figures
