I thought the same, a rather strange comment from a successful business man, interest rates at an all time low, even ISA are poor.

It's good advice for all of us.

 

Less about value, but I'm personally not that confident that people will be able to get to as many games at VP as we might like to think next season.

Many companies don’t just pay on time for the same reason.

I pay bills and many businesses do then they decide (unless in the contract) not when someone says.

The deadline is the 7th of July. I don’t see the rush in getting it before.

My original comment was about money in the bank earning very little, now is the time to borrow money if you need something, some fantastic deals out there.
I prefer to pay for my tickets asap done and dusted, if I'd kept the £294 for mine and my grandsons season ticket and suite upgrade in my bank for the difference in time it would have earned me coppers not worth me leaving it until 7th July.

 

There is no doubt about it the ability to pay for it monthly interest free has mitigated the price rise. The last time I heard it was 35% who had purchased that way with several hundred newcomers.
Whether people accept it or not price matters to some people

 

Some might find it hard to justify paying £200 in 1 go . It makes it more affordable to them paying monthly.

 

Agree because thats what I thought.

Could never throil paying 200 in one go, I'd have to do it over 2 or 3 months probably but I can manage £17 a month.

 

We should have had a Klarna option, 3 even payments over 3 months interest free

 

That way Klarna take a cut of it. Offering 12 month and keeping it in house is surely better

 

It’s preparation for a subscription in the future I think that’s the way the club would want to go. If people don’t like the monthly payment I don’t see why they can’t pay in advance if they want to

How do they make their money then?

 

Just looked deeper and whilst the bit you have copied is correct it does cost the companies to use the facility. There are set up fees and monthly fees that are deducted from the account each month before the money from sale of goods is transfered.

 

Is the 7th just the deadline to renew your seat or are they increasing the price after that?

 

From memory 6th for seat, go off sale on 10th.

 

It did puzzle me as well how they could do for nothing, Guess it will be like credit card charges for the seller at a monthly fee, Must be cheaper than credit cards charges etc as a lot of big retailers are adopting it
