    100% agree!! fully.. massively agree!

I don’t want any business telling me I can’t pay anything up front. I would be annoyed with the club if this is the case.

Many people honestly need to be careful this this monthly costs that they are starting to build. It’s contracts and many lasting 12 months plus. Building up expense.

I can’t believe Sparks wants to go do this route. It’s crazy!

If you can’t afford something then don’t get it. Simple

It was something a previous poster had said, but if there is no % passed on to the customer then fine, I think you'd find if there were two options one paying up front before a ball is kicked and an instalment option the instalment option would work our more.

Who is going to absorb the cost of implementing the scheme, maybe as I've posted I'm reading it wrong and if it is put forward as a future way of paying for a season ticket Ryan will provide more details, but I believe the last time this sort of scheme was offered they was a % included in the monthly repayments.

Do you pay your Council tax, TV, gas and electric all up front too?

Hull have had a lot criticism about their membership scheme, more down to the Allams interpretation of the scheme from what I remember.

MThis scheme has never been offered before.

THIS IS NOT FINANCE, that is something different.

What costs are there to absorb apart from the new entry system that needs updating anyway

A subscription is what it says there is no compulsion to continue it’s not a debt just like if you subscribe to Sky, Netflix, prime, or a Gym membership. Move with the times @Fordy117@Fordy117

Doesn't stop people cancelling the DD though and causing collections problems. This scheme seems to have more issues than benefits

Current rates for basic savings accounts are less than 0.50% so he would get rich on that. Around 74p in interest

As I say no problem if other fans prefer the instalment option but I don't, I would not like the club that I and many others have spent a lifetime watching/supporting telling me there is only one way of paying for your season ticket and that is by instalments.

Oh I am with the times.

This is a football club and people should be given options.

SKY, BT, Netflix do monthly payments so they can increase prices during contracts.

City are late to the party!

If people want to start increasing their month payments in a time in which the economy isn’t secure then more fool then. I would rather pay in full thanks!!

Martyn Lewis is a Charlatan. He regularly gives people "mortgage advice" but has no qualifications to do so.

There must be some cost to the scheme who's taking the monthly instalments the club ? if so they will have to emply more staff which Ryan mentioned in his latest video.
As an example last seasons ticket cost £150 paid up before a certain date so that £150 would work out for anyone doing the instalment option £15 / month over 10 months, I can't believe that.

That's hardly a good comparison mate, Sky, Netflix, Prime against something many have dedicated much of their lives watching, as has been said many times previously watching your football team is not the same as going to a show or the flicks.

Only because we aren’t used to it as others have pointed out a lot of clubs are looking at it.As Sparks pointed out it spreads the money over the year which helps.
If it is implemented they won’t do it in one go and they will need to make it attractive. But in my opinion it’s a forward looking option. Although I understand people don’t like change

And that is the part I can see happening, there must be some cost involved to the people who are running the instalment scheme, will they absorb the extra cost, I think that will be passed onto the customer.

Don’t think once it’s been set up there will be much extra cost and it’s a good vehicle for advertising and commercial partners offers of which the revenue raised will offset some cost
