It's that lovely Denzel Washington but he's far from nice in that movie a good watch.

 

Once Upon a Time In America was a movie that you couldn't leave because of the toing and froing from the present to the past but a great movie.

 

Watched 1917 and while a competent movie felt it was a 7 out of 10

 

Loved 1917, great film watched it last week. I haven’t see The Gentleman, so will watch out for that.

 

Maybe it's a film that you have to watch at the cinema I watched it at home and didn't understand the hype.......sorry.

 

Agree I'm sure it would be as diverse as every other thread, just as a forum should be, posters with different opinions on things.

 

As for the Irishman, there's something on the interweb showing you how to watch it as a series. Tells you when to pause and come back to it. I sat down thinking it was a series, and 2h in, realised it wasn't, and lost the will to live. I still haven't returned to it since Christmas. Once upon a time in Hollywood has me thinking the same. I've got it on USB, but can't bring myself to settle down to watch it (although Margo does make the long slog more comfortable!).

 

Anyone seen uncut gems on Netflix. Not a classic by any means but was a decent watch

I suggest there isn't one in our present squad that would get on the bench with that starting 11, although I was obviously there and probably watched it several times since you still pick up stuff you've missed.

 

Well at least I get to see City on my visit, 3-0 now, wow, just shown a close up shot, Wells Davis and McArdle. All 3 would have shown this current lot the way.

 

I think the league cup final helped us that year. We just dealt with the day better in the play off final. Dream land stuff that though. 3 up at half time. Was game over.

Went last night to the imax. It’s one of them you have to see in the cinema I think.
i thought it was good although not an amazing story but a good film. Not amazing but good enough

 

I love films and try not let other people’s reviews influence me, so I’m looking forward to this one when I get chance. Be interesting to see if I feel the same as others on here, as all our tastes differ. Fury was a good relatively new war film with Brad Pitt in, I’d recommend if you’ve not seen it.
