The 1903 tube arrived this morning so for those awaiting they are being dispatched.

This will allow those fans who thought the ST price should have been higher to help strengthen the squad to contribute more with them getting some benefits in return.

 

I would have thought this add on would appeal to all those wanting to pay more for their season tickets

 

Exactly. I love supporting my local pub. If thanos wants to charge me £4 for a pint of Boltmeker ill pay it, but I sure as he'll won't pay £4 for it if he only wants to charge me £3.75 (or £2.75 on a monday)

Speaking of hot water, hope the club has all hot water sorted for ALL areas of supporters. Imagine not having a basic necessity in a covid19 world.

Heck of an own goal if the club get caught out on this one, especially in the media.

 

I'm not saying it's not to 'raise revenue', I'm saying the idea that it will automatically be allocated to the playing budget is a wild, baseless assumption.

Actually what @bantamdave41 wrote above outlines several much more plausible uses for any extra money.

 

Huge failure under Rupp without a doubt. Taking/Taken the club backwards with Rahic.
In my utopian mind, if the club becomes more sustainable and less reliant on Rupp, then IF a new buyer(s) come along, potentially could the financial noose that is Rupp be lesened and the parting of the ways occur?

So imagine if we were still using "dial up" where it cut off if someone used the phone or rang you !

 

Thats the reason most times I go down to the ticket office and speak to someone, I know with being retired it's easy to me but it saves all the stress of a situation like yours and @Park bantam.

Only rang you ? Sparks personally came round with my ticket, all parcelled up in a nice box with pot pourri in it as well and gave my mrs some Lindt chocolates and a bottle of Procsecco. Whilst he was here, the VP chef arrived with fillet steak for us.

If you dont like the 1903 initative, then dont pay for it, its an option for fans that want to give a bit more .
Anything extra will surely help the club achieve. Yes Mr Rupp is a rich man but we fans will still be here supporting the club long after he has gone.

 

I don't care about alerts - I just want my hand sanitizer! (maybe they included this in the package, because they know the toilets won't be fully functioning on the first day!)
