1903 Club

Not sure what all the fuss is, The club rang me and arranged my seat and parking space, all done and dusted in 5 minutes

 

That’s what I have done mostly in the past but living away it’s not really convenient. I bought season tickets on line with no trouble at all but hanging on the phone made me wonder how many other people were waiting to renew or buy tickets for the first time

 

Only rang you ? Sparks personally came round with my ticket, all parcelled up in a nice box with pot pourri in it as well and gave my mrs some Lindt chocolates and a bottle of Procsecco. Whilst he was here, the VP chef arrived with fillet steak for us.

Apparently 1903 members are to receive some “ exciting news”tomorrow before general release by e mail according to Ryan Sparks

Which other clubs have done as a ‘thank you’ for buying STs last season. Some of them are even giving the shirt to fans (instead of selling them).

 

Can’t blame Rupp for that one. The “Stuart McCall Fighting Fund” was before the Germans took over (circa 2008).

 

The actual questionnaire asked if you’d be happy to pay more if it helped the player budget. So one can only assume this is what is being done.

Plus, I recall this Sparks said: “We would probably go away from the traditional season-ticket campaign that the club have been known for.

“I think it’s run its race. Cheap ticketing is a great initiative and I don’t intend to raise it by any significant amount.

“I want to make football affordable but I also want this club to challenge for silverware.”
